"CALIFORNIA?"

Lilith's voice rang through the cabin of Hera as she stared at the huntress infront of her.

"Yes. California is where we must go." Zoe stated as she threw a concerned glance towards the younger girl. Zoe knew the story of the Daughter of Nyx of course and she couldn't let Lilith lead without telling her about everything.

"Why? Why California?" Lilith asked, her eyes widened as she twisted the crescent moon necklace.

Zoe twisted the silver ribbon in her braid, her face showing hesitantion. "Thy know about Mount Tamalpais? The mountain seen from Camp Jupiter?"

Lilith nodded slowly. She remembered the mountain that Jason, her and Octavian used to joke about saying that they will build a castle there but Aurelia told them about what the mountain was really about. She told them that place was Titan's old palace that was now in ruins and where the Titan Atlas held the sky up.

"The place where Atlas hold up the sky." Lilith said, she eyes immediately turning to Zoe who flinched.

"Yes, Lilith." Zoe said, her eyes staring off in the distance where the sky was. "the place where he holds his burden."

Judging by Zoe's reaction, Lilith got a feeling that she shouldn't ask about it anymore so she dropped the topic. "So, Are Phoebe and Bianca ready?"

Zoe's stare broke as she looked at Lilith in surprise, "huh?"

Lilith rolled her eyes at the oblivious huntress, "Come on, Zoe. Let's get your huntress ready."

Before Lilith could move further, Zoe called her from behind. The Nightangel girl rose a brow at the huntress who shuffled out something from her pocket and put it into Lilith's hand.

Lilith looked down at the paper confused. It was a three fold paper display all about huntress of Artemis. The front read, A WISE CHOICE FOR YOUR FUTURE! Inside were the pictures of young maidens doing archery, chasing monsters, sitting around campfire. There were captions like : HEALTH BENEFITS : IMMORTALITY AND WHAT IT MEANS FOR YOU! and A BOY FREE TOMORROW!

"If thy ever want to get away from everything, this position is always open for you."

Lilith's stomach cruched as she realised that Zoe too, was urging Lilith to join the huntress, she swallowed, "What do you mean by 'this position' ?"

Zoe sighed, "I thought it was rather obvious, Lilith. Should I not....not survive on this quest.." the Huntress looked at Lilith in the eyes, "I must need a suitable replacement. Thy have a huntress blood in you, thy will be the perfect replacement."
