PERCY JACKSON HAD A FIRM GRIP ON LILITH NIGHTANGEL'S WAIST.

They were on the back of Blackjack as they sored towards Olympus. The towns were zipping by faster now, islands of light thicker together, until the whole landscape below was a glittering carpet. Dawn was close. The eastern sky was turning gray. And up ahead, a huge white-and-yellow glow spread out before them—the lights of New York.

Lilith huffed, "Percy. I am fine."

"Oh yeah?" Percy glanced at her, his eyes still stormy but they softened, "You said the same an hour ago and you died."

Lilith scowled, "I am very much alive, Ocean eyes."

"You weren't an hour ago." Marcus rolled his eyes. He was flying with Annabeth just beside Lilith, keeping an eye on his bestfriend incase something happens.

"Let it go, guys!" Lilith wailled. "I am fine."

Percy and Marcus shared a look, they knew Lilith didn't want to talk about it. They knew the girl didn't liked sharing her feelings so they agreed on letting it go, but a silent understanding passed between them.

An agreement to keep extra care of Lilith from now. They can't loose her again.

Percy tightend his grip around Lilith as he nuzzled his head in her neck, his hand clutching her waist and stroking small patterns.

"Do you have a thing for poisons, Moonlight?" Percy asked, mocking the same dialogues the Lilith said to him.

Lilith was blushing. Hard. Her breaths was uneven as Percy's breath tickled her neck. His hands made Lilith hard to listen what he was saying as his voice was driving Lilith mad.

"Fuck off, Ocean eyes." The girl shook her head and jabbed Percy in ribs making him chuckle and nuzzel him further into her. Lilith felt her whole body shiver as Percy chuckled and she was literally feeling weak in her knees.

Percy pulled back and Lilith instantly missed his touch. He glanced down at her, "Get some sleep, Moonlight. You did so much today."

Lilith didn't needed to be told twice. She leaned into Percy's chest as she closed her eyes. It was hard to sleep when you had just came back from dead but surprisingly, her brother greeted her in his relam.

After half an hour, Percy and Marcus thought that she was asleep so they resumed their conversation.

"You know why I never liked you, Jackson?" Marcus questioned as he stroke Annabeth's hairs who had passed away due to tiredness.
