Two weeks later

Athena Jones

Two weeks. Dahlia has been disappearing every alternate night for two weeks, she says there's nothing to worry about when I confronted her about it, she says her mother lately has been feeling alone, so she accompanies her.

She says she's been off drugs, but her behaviour has been too good to be true. She won't tell us what happened and we decided we won't ask until she really wants to tell us.

The letters are still a mystery, I've tried different spells on it, but nothing really works, and I've been more careful at nights to lock my windows and doors. Till now nothing suspicious has happened.

As for Malfoy, he's been here then the next day he isn't, I get that we're avoiding eachother but he doesn't have to disappear completely. His injuries healed completely 5 days ago, he was back at the place of captain for the quidditch match.

Hazel tells me that Adrian talked to her three days ago, saying that he's going to give her space, if she can't trust that his feelings are genuine then she should take some time think. If the answer is still same he would give up.

And as for Milo, he's been— sweet? And I feel bad that my feelings are not genuine towards him, two days ago Malfoy saw me and Milo sit together, he was glaring at us more like, almost like he'd do something stupid to Milo, but instead he turned his face away and walked out of the classroom. Which I don't know if I should say was disappointing or a good thing he didn't do anything to Milo.

Today was the quidditch match, Milo did Insist me to join the Slytherin after party with him which will be in Slytherin common room, a perfect opportunity to get somewhat reaction out of Malfoy so I said yes.

Hazel, Dahlia, William, Blaise and me we're all going to watch the match, so are the other students.

"Okay well, I'm betting a 50 that Ravenclaw loose against Hufflepuff" William says as we're all walking towards the field.

"Why are we even betting?" Blaise ask, "I mean that's just stupid."

"Just shut up and make your bet, everyone here know that ravenclaw is going to lose." Dahlia replies before she turns to face us all "who's joining me?" she adds as she raises her arm

Before anyone can answer her, William raises his hand.

"seriously?" Hazel rolls her eyes and I laugh softly

"Hey I like a little drama." William answers with a smirk, "and it's not like this match is going to be that exciting" he adds, which he's probably right.

"Well let's just hope Slytherin wins," I say with a shrug.

"Yeah let's just hope Malfoy sticks his ass on his broom instead of falling down" William says mockingly as I let out a hollow laugh.

Blaise and Hazel gave me a look, before I signalled them that it's fine I don't really care.

I roll my eyes "Everyone knows Slytherin has high chances of winning,"

"Well yeah that's true," Dahlia shurgs.

"Okay enough about betting stuff, let's go watch the match," Hazel sighs as we take our seats along with other students, which are a lot. The ground is filled with students cheering for their own house

The crowd of students is huge, many have painted their faces in the house color of who they're rooting for.

Everyone is chanting and shouting out loud, and the atmosphere is full of excitement for the match. The only students who are not participating in the chant are Ravenclaw students.
