Nicolas Malfoy

Nicolas' didn't waste any time going to Zabini's safe house where Draco took Athena. Bursting through the door, making Hazel's eyes snap at his figure "She's inside" she says holding some vile of potions, before leading him to the room, where Athena was layed on the bed, Hazel and Pansy had done their best to clean her up, but the injuries were still evident. Her head lolled to the side, a gash on her forehead and several bruisess across her skin.

Draco was sitting on the floor besides the bed holding her hand and William was looking at her injuries, Pansy takes the vile of potions from Hazel her eyes darting towards Nicolas' "She has head injuries, internal and external," she says quietly.

"You think you can do something?" Draco adds

Nicolas strides into the room, his gaze falling on Athena's unconscious form on the bed. His heart clenches at the sight of her injured and vulnerable, but he quickly composes himself.

"Let me see the potions," he says, extending his hand towards Pansy.

Pansy hands him the vile of potions without hesitation, watching as he inspects them. He scans each vile carefully, his eyes taking in every detail. "She needs dittany for the gash on her forehead," he says. "And something for the internal bleeding.."

Without a word, Pansy hands him a small pot of dittany, the silvery liquid swirling within it. He pours some dittany onto a clean cloth, pressing it onto her wound gently. The dittany works its magic, starting to close the gash.

Hazel hands him the last potion, a small vial filled with a deep purple liquid. "This should help with the internal bleeding," she says, her voice tinged with worry.

He opens the vial and pours a few drops onto Athena's tongue, watching as the potion trickles down her throat. She lets out a small groan, her body twitching slightly as the potion takes effect. Her breathing becomes more steady, and the deep purple of the potion spreads beneath her skin, slowly but surely repairing the internal bleeding.

He takes a step back, his eyes never leaving Athena as the colour slowly returns to her cheeks. He turns to the others, his expression unreadable. "She'll be okay," he says, his voice low and composed. "The potion will take care of the internal bleeding. The dittany will close the gash on her forehead. Other than that, she just needs rest."

Draco's gaze lingers on Athena, his grip on her hand tightening. He looks up at Nicolas, "She'll wake up, right?" he asks.

Nicolas looks at Draco, his face stony. "Yes, she will," he says firmly. "She'll wake up when she's ready. We just need to give her body time to heal."

Draco nods, his gaze returning to Athena. He reaches over and pushes a piece of hair away from her face. "How did this happen?" Pansy says quietly, her hands shaking slightly as she holds the empty vile of potion.

Nicolas' jaw clenches as Draco opened his mouth to reply, he couldn't hear it, he didn't want to remember how he wasn't there for her while she was being tortured. His heart tightening at the image of her in the cell with Ethan.

His fingers curled into fist. He stomps out of the room, leaving the others in a quiet room. His stomach twisted with anger and frustration. The image of her in the cell, bruised and unconscious, replays in his mind. It's too much, the mix of guilt and anger burning inside him like a wildfire.

He finds himself outside the Zabini's safe house, leaning against the wall, his breaths coming in short, sharp bursts. He can't shake the image of her pain, the sight of her body broken and bruised. And he wasn't there to prevent it. The thought gnaws on him, eating away at his mind like a venomous snake.
