Few weeks later

Hazel, William and I are sitting in the great hall, for dinner, Blaise and Dahlia didn't return yet from their home, I'm looking around to find Draco but it's no luck.

He said in his letter yesterday he would meet me when I get back to Hogwarts so where the hell is is? I sighed to myself before looking at Hazel. It's good distraction from being sad about my dad and being alone, I liked them around me.

"So how's it going with you and Adrian," I ask her and William makes a face, he's still adjusting to the idea of Pucey dating his sister.

"Oh, it's okay" Hazel said, not thinking much of it "We've just been spending time... nothing special."

William makes a face and asks "Is he treating you to a proper magical experience? you know, not just taking you to hogsmeade village to get an ice cream there"

Hazel rolls her eyes "Oh shut up, you guys are making this sound like all he's doing is dating me just to get in my pants",

"Well, what else would he want to date you for?" William is still trying to play his 'overprotective' brother part.

"How many more months would you want to accept my relationship," she says to William.

"More like how many lives," William says and rolls his eyes

She rolls her eyes "Seriously Willie, you need to get into someone's pants so you can stop being like this,"

I laugh at that "Yeah, she's right" I nod

William rolls his eyes at us "Shut up, you're just supporting her because she's your best friend, you're biased"

"Hey, that's not true you're my bestfriend too," I say laughing a little

"That's not the point," William sighs, looking the pair of us "I just can't believe she's dating a Pucey, out of all people, come on."

"Well Thea's dating Malf—" Hazel stops in mid sentence both our heads snapping to look at eachother wide-eyed.

"Thea's dating who? You're dating someone? How did I not know that?" William asks knitting his eyebrows.

Oh well he's not going to like this one bit. I should prepare myself to get some dramatic reaction. I sighed as Hazel mouths a sorry to me, "What are you both doing? Who are you dating?" William asks me again, curiously.

"Malfoy — we're not officially dating-dating but, yeah it's something," I say quickly, squeezing my eyes to prepare myself for his dramatic reaction.

"You... you are dating a Malfoy?" he asks, the drama I was waiting for

"Don't do that dramatic gasp thing and drop your cup of butterbeer please, he's not the worst" I tell him trying to sound like I'm not joking

"Not the worst really? Are you kidding me?" he asks, still trying to process what I just said

"Yeah, like he's not that bad", I defend my Draco again, my tone making William give me that expression that says 'are you serious?'

"You have got to be kidding me" William sighs "Oh my god how long?"

"Since like mid of last year" I say apprehensively.

"Half a  year, you've been dating Draco Malfoy for half a year!", William explodes.

Hazel's trying hard not to laugh in the background as she's observing this 'dramatic scene' unfold with wide eyes.

"I know... I know" I say quickly "but it isn't that bad, really, it isn't..." I look at Hazel again for support "it really isn't"
