What a wicked game to play
To let me feel this way
What a wicked thing to do
To let me dream of you
What a wicked thing to say
You never felt this way
What a wicked thing to do
To let me dream of you
v And I don't wanna fall in love

I swear, at that moment, if eyes could talk. His would have sent me to hell. Larry made a quick move toward Ashley, who had absolutely no problem switching places with me.

I smiled as Ashley switched my place and I could see how, pleased Larry was, now he finally had the space and chance to tell her. I saw Ashley gently put her arms around his neck as Larry's hands slid gracefully down to her hips, gripping her tightly as if she might melt under his hands.

I was snapped out of my musing and melting over the two of them by a strong grip around my waist. My eyes widened in fear as I finally turned around and bumped my chest into Sal's.

His hands clamped obsessively around my waist, I tried to look away. He was awfully close, I'd never been this close to his face before, and it didn't make me feel the least bit comfortable.

My stomach clenched, my cheeks flushed, my throat went dry, my lips pressed together, and I put my hands on his arms, intending to pull away at least a little. I couldn't breathe.

After a moment, I heard a chuckle. It made me lift my head. He was looking at me the whole time. I moved my gaze away again and looked around, Larry and Ashley? Nowhere. Fucking hell.

When I turned my head back, it looked like he hadn't blinked the whole time. There was a darkness in his eyes, a pure and penetrating darkness. The darkness, reflected the lights that circled the dance floor. If he could, he would have sucked my soul out with that look. I heard him exhale loudly.

"How can you be so smart and so stupid at the same time." He grunted and squeezed my waist tighter. I hissed in pain. My nails dug more and more into his arms.

"What the hell do you mean by that." I hissed through my teeth.

"What I mean is, how can you come up with such a perfect plan, to finally get these two together, but use me for it, without me knowing." He said coldly, not at all provocative or seductive. There was pure aggression and contempt in it.

"If you hate being taken advantage of, then don't do it to others." I gasped when, after I finished speaking, his hand gripped me tightly around my neck. The other still remained around my waist. He had to know what I was referring to, he also had to know from my tone of voice how much it pissed me off, how much it was eating at me, but not because I felt sorry for the waitress.

"I don't take advantage of anyone, those people just give in to me." He said a little more softly and calmly, raising his eyebrows slightly, obviously fascinated by my expression after his hand squeezed tighter around my neck. "And from the way I've observed your reactions to me since you first fucking showed up here, for some unknown reason, You are attracted to me, aren't you?"

"You're out of your mind, if you think I'm just a little bit attracted to you, you're disgusting, you're annoying, you treat me and your friends like an idiot." I could list thousands and thousands of things that annoy me about him, but it still wouldn't beat how much I'm attracted to him.

I heard him chuckle softly and sinisterly. My pulse went crazy. His hand was squeezing me harder, he must have felt it, must have seen my lips gently parted, so I could breathe. He had to see the look in my eyes and my words that contradicted so horribly with it all.

"Your body is telling me otherwise.." I could see his pupils darting back and forth over my pale face, studying it, analyzing it, not wanting to miss my slightest reaction. "You're looking at me the same way you did at the preview, at the bar, at our rehearsal's, at my place." His hand around my neck made me move closer to his face. "But I just didn't want to believe, that you would really be that stupid and really fall for someone who hates and despises you."
