Run, baby, run, run for your life

I sifted through my wardrobe, my mind continued to replay the events past events, particularly my tumultuous encounters with Sal. Despite our agreement to keep our interactions hidden from the rest of the band, I couldn't shake the lingering sense of unease that accompanied our newfound arrangement. It is gonna be different now? Does he still hate me? We are just using each others? But we agreed on in, we both want it. He want it.
He wants me.
But amidst the chaos of my thoughts, I found solace in the prospect of meeting with Devin. I selected a simple yet professional outfit for our meeting, I couldn't help but feel a sense of anticipation building within me.
A/N: THE LIT FIT YAAL 💃
With a deep breath, I slipped into the chosen outfit and made my way out of my apartment, the click of my shoes echoing down the hallway. I settled into the seat in my car, I couldn't help but wonder what revelations awaited me in the hours to come. I blasted Arctic Monkeys along my way to Devin.
Arriving at the café where Devin and I had agreed to meet, I stepped inside, greeted by the comforting aroma of freshly brewed coffee and the soft hum of conversation. Spotting Devin at a table near the window, I made my way over, a sense of familiarity washing over me. The place was really soft, comfy and cozy I loved it.
"Hey, Y/N!" Devin's warm smile greeted me as I approached, and I couldn't help but return the gesture. He wore a black shirt, the sleeves neatly rolled up to his elbows. He was wearing black trousers. Very simple, but very nice.
"Hey, Devin," I replied, sliding into the seat opposite him. "Thanks for meeting me."
"Of course, you look awesome!" he said, reaching across the table to squeeze my hand briefly before releasing it. "How have you been?"
I hesitated for a moment, unsure of how much to divulge about the events of the past weeks. But as I looked into Devin's kind eyes, I felt a sense of trust wash over me.
"It's been... hard," I admitted, choosing my words carefully. "A lot has happened, and I'm still trying to make sense of it all."
Devin nodded understandingly, his expression sympathetic. "Do you want to talk about it?"
I paused, weighing my options. Part of me longed to confide in Devin, to unburden myself of the weight of recent events. But another part of me hesitated, uncertain of how much to reveal.
"I..." I began, faltering slightly. "There's just been a lot of tension lately, within the band and... other things."
Devin's brow furrowed slightly, concern etched into his features. "Is everything okay? You can talk to me. I worked with them a lot so maybe. I can help you with it I know Weeping Angel's very well."
