"Xaviiiii!"

The sweet voice of Dhanya Devi welcomed him before he could even envision her. He heard the roaring of her anklets halt behind him as a pair of frail arms hugged him tight.

He turned around under her weak embrace and grinned. Dhanya Devi, the rebellious fourteen-year-old teenager, was dressed in a beautiful yellow and parrot green half-saree and looked adorable, like a doll. She was a Xerox copy of her elder sister, just way younger than Satya.

"How come my sweetie is wearing anklets?", he pulled her closer as they walked together inside the house. "Did Satya again force you to wear them?"

He couldn't help but laugh when she scrunched up her nose. "Akka is getting stringent day by day," she skimmed around before continuing in a murmur, "Get her married to someone, at least her attention will be divided."

Guffawing at her request, he continued, "Sweetie, that's being pretentious." He lowered his head to her level and attempted the fake stage whisper. "Even if she gets married, you won't be excused from her attention."

She kicked his side with her elbow, and he feigned hurt. "How come she hasn't even mentioned your name in the past two days?" She arched a brow. "Don't tell me you fought with Akka."

He pursed his lips into a thin line. "I might have angered her." Grimacing, he watched as Junior Satya shot a strong glare at him. "You had any plans?"

"Go and fall at her feet, beg for forgiveness," she rushed, her slim arms moving in the air. "I don't care, I had messaged you that I was planning to go on a trip, and you have to convince her." She slapped her head with her palm. "Useless Xavi, you are such a duffer."

Patting her head, he assured her with a wide grin, "Dhanuma, Xavi will convince Satya. No worries." He crossed his heart in a promise.

She rolled her eyes. He listened to her school stories and gossip as she animatedly explained to him. It was like walking with a teen Satya, as the older woman was no different than her sister. They entered the living area, and he stopped dead in his tracks.

Oh, fuck... She looks so... fuck!

Time froze as his eyes experienced the utmost beauty in front of him.

With a bright red dress covering her chocolaty dark skin, she looked like an Apsara, an unworldly seductress in the mortal world, standing against the white wall. The garment flowed like a wildflower; it covered every inch of her body. Even her arms were covered by silky redness, leaving out her dainty hands.
