"Y/n?"
You slightly turned your head towards the familiar guy. He looked worried, his brows were twitched in concern. He sat beside you on the grass.
"So, what should I think of a girl like you sitting on the college's ground late at the midnight while admiring the star studded sky all alone.", The boy uttered.
"Go away. I want to be alone." You whined.
"Why princess? Do you think I'm not a good company?", He teased you.
"Please, leave me alone Jimin.", You pleaded.
"What if I refuse to leave you alone? Will you then walk away from me and sit somewhere else? Or you'll just go straight to your dorm room and would be engulfed by loneliness there?" , His voice was sincere this time as if he was really concerned about you.
"Why are you doing this to me? I said I want to be alone. Please leave.", You buried your face in your hands and broke down into tears.
"Sssshhh... It's fine y/n. I got you. Don't worry. Tell me what is the matter." , He gently embraced you in his arms and tried to console you.
"I never knew that a heartbreak hurts this much.", You sobbed.
Jimin, wasn't really kind of a person to care about people's emotions but still for some unacknowledged reason he didn't wanted to leave you alone in the dark.
"Heartbreaks are a part of life y/n. You meet people, you get attached, you give them your heart but they brake it. But nothing ends there. You could meet new people again, you could get attached again, you could again give them your heart and when it's really meant to be, then you could get their heart too. And that's how life goes on y/n. You just need to get going, until you finally meet the right one for you.", Jimin said warmly.
You felt comforted by his words. Never have you ever thought Jimin had this soft, sweet and caring side in him too. And too not deny, you really liked this side of him. A lot.
"Thank you for being nice.", You mumbled and broke the hug.
"That's what friends are for y/n.", Jimin gave you an encouraging smile.
This side of him, got you feeling better than before.
It was warm.
He was warm.
When he was hugging you, it made you forget about Jungkook's whole existence for a while.
You smiled. "Thank you, Jimin."
"Ah! Enough with your formalities." Jimin hissed with his lips slightly forming a smile.
"So, want to admire the night sky with a partner?", He asked earnestly.
"Sure, Jimin.", You grinned.
Jimin nodded feeling proud that he somehow managed to lightened up your mood. You both continued to admire the beauty of the star studded night, along with stealing glances of each other. You both talked for hours about constellations, galaxies, spaceships and the existence of aliens too. Laughs and giggles soon surrounded you both resulting in an calm and enjoyable ambience.
This was the night when you got to know a lot about Jimin which made you deny all of your previous assumptions about him.
"It's three in the morning.", Jimin uttered. "Let me escort you to your dorm."
"No, it's fine. I'll go by myself.", You chuckled.
"Ah, you sure you don't want a company?"
"I already got enough of your company for today." You said. "Bye Jimin. Thank you for toda-tonight."
"No big deal. Remember when you feel low, I'm here to always light up your mood okay."
"Mmm." You said and waved him a bye.
While walking to your room, you thought that,
maybe Jimin was right.
Life really goes on.
All you need to contribute in your life is to always get going to wherever life takes you to,
because that's where your destiny lies.
And after this thought, you opened your handphone and did what you never thought of doing.
