Starlight / Aegon Targaryen out now!
"You missed the tourney." Joffrey declared. "Not worth leaving the confines of your chambers I suppose."
"I... was tired." Vaera lied.
"From what? You dont do anything." JOffrey sassed.
"The mental stimulation of having to use all other senses to figure out how to function in a new place is quite strenuous." Vaera countered but joffrey was already waving a dismissive hand towards her, which of course she couldnt see.
"Shut up. I dont care." Joffrey corrected. Vaera's lips sealed turning her head down to the table, she gingerly reached out grasping for her tea cup, it clattered against her ring as she found it. "You are so clumsy."
"I'm just trying to find my cup, Joffrey." Vaera countered.
"Look at me when I'm talking to you freak!"
Gregor wanted to snap Joffrey's neck. Wanted to tear him apart limb from limb. Gregor could hate every person he met but add all that hate together and multiply it by about a million and that was the hatred he felt for Joffrey when he shouted at his Vaera. Gregor fisted his hands at his sides, it would be so easy to kill the little fucker right now but then he would be arrested and Vaera would be alone. Not alone, but not with him and he couldnt bear that.
Vaeras face turned up and she aimed at his awful ear piercing voice. Look at him, sure, just look at. Joffrey continued to snigger and Vaera's glossy green eyes luckily locked on him because he silenced.
"I'm sorry, my prince." Vaera agreed slowly. Myrcella looked between them before smiling grabbing a cookie.
"I'm excited for the wedding, mother said I will have a new dress made, Lannister red of course, yellow is silly mother says." Myrcella added.
"I'm sure you will look beautiful." Vaera agreed. "Tommen, you have been so quiet-"
"He left you idiot." Joffrey corrected.
"Oh." Vaera whispered turning to where Tommen had sat beside her. SHe didnt hear him leave past Joffrey's shouts. "Myrcella tell me more about this dress." Vaera requested.
"It's going to look like mothers, have golden inlay too! It's going to be beautiful!" Myrcella declared. "You could get a new dress to."
"I wouldnt know what to do with a new dress." Vaera countered.
"You wear it silly." Myrcella countered.
"That's right. Silly me." Vaera agreed.
"He's a cunt."
"Gregor." Vaera tsked.
"He is." Gregor muttered. "Little fucker, I want him dead for how he talks to you," gregor added softly.
"My sister would be very sad." Vaera corrected. "But thank you. I know it is hard for you to control your temper, I'm glad you didnt murder Joffrey today."
"But another day?"
"It's debatable." Vaera half teased. Her head jerked around at the commotion down the hall. "What's going on?"
"Nothing." Gregor assured leading her onward.
"Nothing? It doesnt sound like nothing." Vaera countered.
"I will check it out." Gregor offered. "You stay- Vaera-" He grabbed her arm turning her towards her chambers.
"I want to see."
"What if it's something dangerous, then I have to worry about you.' Gregor countered. "Door," he put her hand on the door knob. "Go." Vaera grumbled marching in. Gregor pulled the door closed behind her before she could object.
"Why is everyone freaking out?" Vaera questioned. "They are all so loud." Vaera cupped her ears, she was blind, not deaf, people didnt need to be screaming all the time recently.
"Yeah..." gregor agreed slowly.
"Whats going on? Come on you said you would find out and tell me." Vaera begged.
"I didnt say any of that." Gregor corrected, Vaera pouted up at him. He loved those lips. "Pout all you want gorgeous."
"Is the capital under attack?"
"Not... at the moment."
"What does that mean?" Vaera countered.
The capital was supposed to be filled with tea parties and getting to know her niece and nephews instead it seemed like constant drama since their arrival.
"Just get some rest." Gregor suggested.
"Gregor, tell me." Vaera countered.
Rumors were spinning and rumors were dangerous.
"Lay down Vaera." Gregor countered.
"Can you stay? Read me another story?" Vaera countered.
"Aye." Gregor agreed kicking off his shoes. Gregor liked how Vaera fit perfectly into his side. How she snuggled up into him like a cat.
Gregor wasnt the best reader but he learned for her. He spelled out the words he didnt know and Vaera told him what they meant. He wanted to be better for her.

When they woke up Jaime had fled and Ned was laying in bed unconscious.
"Are you going to tell me what the hell is going on now?" Vaera demanded.
"Catelyn Stark took Tyrion."
"My brother Tyrion?" Vaera demanded.
"Aye." Gregor agreed.
"Why?" Vaera countered.
"Why do women do anything?"
"Gregor!"
"I dont fucking know."
"Take me to cersei."
"I shall wear this like a badge of honor." Cersei hissed.
"Wear it in silence." Robert demanded, Cersei stormed out and stumbled into Vaera.
"Cersei?"
"Vaera." Cersei wiped at the tear that fell down her cheek with the sting of his ring.
"What's going on with Tyrion?"
"He's been taken by Catelyn stark and of course my husband isnt going to do anything about it." Cersei muttered.
"I heard Jaime-"
"He was defending our family." Cersei assured.
"Where is Jaime?"
"He... went to try and get Tyrion back." Cersei offered.
"Is... Ned alright?"
"He will survive this wound." Cersei agreed.
"Cersei-"
"Everything will work out, Vaera. Dont you worry. Might I have a moment alone with Ser Gregor?" Cersei requested. Vaera shrugged slumping off a few steps, she hated being treated like the baby. "Ser Gregor... please keep a close eye on my sister." Cersei whispered but Vaera had grown used to ease dropping, her hearing enhanced when her eyes failed her, she heard her sister loud and clear. "The capital is no a safe spot right now and I dont know what the future will hold just yet."
