A few weeks later, Olivia and Antonio were hosting a BBQ for everyone from 51 and Intelligence. They had all had a challenging few weeks so it was nice to be able to do something as the weather was finally becoming warmer.
"I'm back!" Antonio called out as he made his way back into the house. He walked into the kitchen where Olivia was preparing some of the food.
"Did you manage to get everything?" She asked him. She had sent him off with a list for some more stuff that she hasn't managed to get whilst out shopping the previous day.
"Yes. I even got some more squash because I thought some people might not want alcohol or fizzy and I know we don't have any." Antonio told her as he started unpacking the bags.
"Ahh, perfect!" She said happily, leaning over to peck him on the lips as he walked past her.
"Do you want to fire up the BBQ whilst I finish this? I've started cooking some of the nibbly bits in the oven but I've left the meat for you." She smiled.
"Perfect." He nodded. He grabbed some of the BBQ supplies from the utility room that they had before he walked through the back doors into the garden.
"Chase should be here soon because he's bringing some beer." Olivia told her husband as she joined him outside.
"I told him we didn't need any more or any help but he insisted." She added, laughing.
"Do you think we have enough chairs?" She asked, looking around the garden.
"Who knows. Just lay some blankets out and people can sit on the floor." Antonio shrugged as he tried to light the grill.
"Step aside." Olivia joked, pushing him out the way. She flicked a few settings on the BBQ before she used the lighter they had to light it.
"How did you-"
"Magic." She simply grinned.
"Oh my gosh I married a pyromaniac." Antonio laughed, earning a playful slap from his wife. Olivia giggled.
"We deal with these all the time. I had one quite similar back in Seattle." She explained, handing it back over to Antonio by stepping out of the way.
"You still amaze me." He said, leaning in to kiss her. They were interrupted by a familiar voice.
"Where do you want these?" Chase asked, standing at the top of the decking steps that lead from the house. Olivia smiled and stepped away from Antonio.
"How did you get in?" She laughed.
"The door was unlocked..." Chase simply grinned.
"Right." Olivia laughed.
"Err, maybe we should set up an ice bucket for them. The fridge is rammed already." She suggested, walking towards him and heading inside.
"Right, what can I do to help?" Chase asked once the beers were sorted away.
"Ermm, can you spread a couple of blankets on the grass so people can sit? We definitely don't have enough chairs." Olivia laughed as she passed him the blankets she had dug out from the cupboard upstairs.
"Sure, anything else?" He asked his friend.
"Err, I think that's it. Everything is done." Olivia said, looking around to make sure she hasn't missed anything.

A short while later people had started to arrive.
"It was a good thing you put the sign up and just left the side gate open otherwise I'd be opening that front door like crazy." Olivia told her husband with a laugh.
"Hey guys!" Olivia grinned when the rest of 51 turned up.
"Help yourselves to drinks. There are beers in the bucket down there or the fridge and a variety of stuff spread on the table inside." She told everyone.
"There are also a shit tonne of snacks and food will be ready soon so please help yourselves."
"Otherwise we'll be eating leftovers for weeks..." Antonio added quietly, earning a playful smack from his wife.
"Cindy! It's so good to see you." Olivia beamed as she hugged Herrmann's wife. It had been awhile since she had seen her at Molly's so it was nice seeing her again.
"New place looks amazing!" Cindy gushed, looking around the garden.
"Thank you! Come with me, I'll give you a tour!" Olivia said happily, eager to show her house off. After showing Cindy and a few of the others around the house, Olivia bounced between the little groups that had formed, talking to everyone gradually. Antonio stood and watched the BBQ, talking to Jay and his brother, who they had also invited. She has just helped Antonio sort some of the food for the grill before she walked towards Chase. She saw that he was looking towards Heidi, with a slight smile on his face, as she laughed whilst talking to Sylvie, Burgess and Ruzek.
"Soooo, what's going on with you and Heidi then?" Olivia asked as she sat down on the back steps next to Chase, with a beer in her hand.
"What do you mean?" He asked, acting all innocent.
"Oh cut the bullshit Chase. You're like a puppy in love, I can see it in your eyes everytime you look at her." Olivia said, making him laugh a little.
"Spill." She said, nudging him.
"Okay, okay! Jeez, I can see why you married a detective." He laughed. Olivia grinned.
"Well, we went on a couple of dates whilst you were away on your honeymoon and we've kinda been dating for a couple of weeks. Especially after the community centre shitshow." He told her.
"But we're keeping it on the downlow whilst we see how things work out." Chase explained. Olivia had to stop herself from squealing.
"I knew it!" She whisper shouted.
"Ask Antonio, I literally said you two should get together." She laughed quietly.
"Well, she's pretty awesome." Chase responded, smiling as he looked over to Heidi who was standing talking to Halstead, Ruzek and Burgess.
"So are you." Olivia nudged her friend.
"Jeez, you two were actually made for eachother." She laughed quietly when she thought about it. Chase grinned as he took a sip from his beer.

Late that evening, Olivia finally crawled into bed. The day had been really fun and people had stayed for a while. Chase had stayed and insisted on helping them clean up so by the time everyone else had gone, it didn't take them long to clear up.
"There's still quite a bit of food left so we can just split it and take it to work tomorrow." Antonio suggested.
"Ughhhh, work." Olivia huffed as she snuggled against Antonio.
"Yep, back to reality tomorrow unfortunately." Antonio sighed. They had both had a couple of days off together, which had been nice, but they were both back to work tomorrow.
"Today was nice." Olivia mumbled.
"Hmm, we should do it more often." Antonio agreed.
"Ooo, I forgot to tell you! Chase and Heidi are a thing! They've been dating on the downlow for a few weeks. He told me today." Olivia said happily.
"I called it!" She grinned.
"Hmm, you did." Antonio laughed.
