NOAH

It was already 11:30 PM, and my mind was a blur. Kai's words kept replaying in my head, no matter how hard I tried to push them away. They were hitting me over and over.

I didn't understand my own feelings toward Hope. I knew I disliked her, yet seeing her cry or even the slightest tear on her cheek made me furious at whoever caused her pain. I wanted to do the worst possible things to anyone who made her suffer.

Despite my feelings, I hated seeing her sad. I hated seeing her cry. Her eyes deserved nothing but joy, and her face should always be adorned with a smile. Somehow, she made me feel this way, even though I didn't fully understand why.

I had never felt this way about any girl before, but now everything felt different. I wanted to be there for her until the end, until she no longer needed me until she didn't need a shoulder to cry on. I wanted to be with her through everything until the oceans turned to dust.

What was happening to me? I needed fresh air.

'Noah Alister, you've lost it',

I thought to myself. I stood up and decided to go for a walk, hoping it would clear my mind.

The wind was soothing as always, bringing a sense of calm. I noticed the area was sparsely populated, but I could hear distant music. Curiosity led me to follow the sound.

Arriving at a club at 1 AM, I decided to step inside and get a drink. The place was alive with loud music, dancing people, and couples kissing.

I made my way to the bar and ordered, "Your best-selling alcohol. Make it strong." The bartender nodded, and I waited as he prepared my drink.

As I vibe to the music, my gaze fell upon a girl who seemed oddly familiar. I squinted and realized, with a jolt, it was Hope. I could recognize her face from anywhere.

'Goddammit, Noah, it's none of your business what she's doing'

I told myself, trying to ignore her presence and focused on my drink. My tolerance for alcohol was high, but tonight I wanted to get drunk, no matter how long it took.

The room spins in a kaleidoscope of flashing lights and pulsing music. Faces blur together, a mix of laughter and shouts barely audible over the pounding bass. Every movement feels heavy and unsteady, like walking through water. The air is thick with the scent of sweat, alcohol, and perfume, creating a heady, almost suffocating atmosphere. Conversations are a jumble of words that don't quite make sense, and the world seems to tilt and sway unpredictably. Everything is vivid yet surreal, a chaotic mix of sensations that feels both exhilarating and overwhelming.
