Fucks sake " , Rovyn silently grunted as he squeezed his way
through the narrow vent, his body contorted in unnatural positions. The air was thick with the musty smell of damp concrete and the waves of dust and grease that continuously painted his face.
It didn't help that he could barely see , single-handedly getting through only because he was so used to the feel of the dark light engulfing him all the time.
As he crawled deeper into the vent, he could feel his muscles aching as his breath came in short,silent ragged gasps. He could faintly hear the sound of footsteps echoing through the building. He had to move quickly.
Rovyn's POV
Here smells worse that what they serve in the cafeteria back at headquarters.
But I gotta give it to them,the air was Definitely doing a good job with making me wanna faint.
My knees felt like they were on the verge of breaking with the way I dragged them along the harsh metal.
although nothing that hadn't happened before , it just reminded me of the cardio workout waiting for me as soon as I got back .
"Black ,state ? " E suddenly rang through my ear .
"Good",I'm totally not breaking my back out here.
"Oh really? , I would have thought you were ready to cuss someone out when you're currently in a vent that's half you're size".
She really laughed , the nerve .
"No I'm having the time of my life right now " stupid .
" okay , okay I've got you're sats , turn left and you should be able to get out from there and the exit will be on the other side. Be careful though there's a few guards scattered around there "
"Got it" , about time .

Rovyn held his breath and he squinted,peering down from the vent into the dimly-lit hallway .
He wrapped his fingers in a determined grip around his knife ready as he assessed the area. He could closed his eyes focusing on the noises in his surroundings trying to roughly figure out the area of the guards .
Rovyn had developed heightened senses over the years which meant he could hear and feel more than others.
Rovyn's POV
Four guards.
Two tall , around 182cm .
One more muscle mass than the other, foot steps are
heavier but quieter so he's further away from me.
The other one is lighter and louder he's right under me.
Two short ,steps are slower so one is older.
The other is has very light steps barely moving, he's tired .
I felt myself smirk.
7 seconds.
END OF POV
With a deep breath,Rovyn began to unscrew the vent window, working quickly and as the last screw fell Rovyn pushed the window out climbing out of the ledge as he hang still going unnoticed.
7 seconds , Rovyn reminded himself as he jumped from the ledge his knife flashing in the dim light,immediately catching the attention of the biggest guard at the end of the hall way. He was right.
Even with all four guards lunging at him at once Rovyn's moves remained controlled and precise like he was dancing around the room, avoiding the attacks swiftly in his usual calm manner.
Rovyn's POV
Two came at me at once, a tall dark -skinned man who's fist was at least double the size of my face not that it would stop me.
I grabbed his wrist, shocking him ,not giving him time to react as I turned him and flipped him onto the floor knocking him out .
ONE
The second came lunging at me with a baton trying to aim for my face. Not with that poor form he wasn't.
TWO
I let him get close before turning smirking and sending him to sleep with a round-house kick.
THREE
Two more to go.
The tallest one who I could at least say had a build looked at me with fear and sight hesitation as I raise my brow like a challenge.
He looked between me and the Shiny red button near him,I already knew where this was going.
As predicted, he ran to click the emergency button , not on my watch though.
I leaned back before running and crashing into him , sending us both to the ground.
FOUR
The loud groan that was let out told me,he definitely went head first ,oh well shouldn't have ran.
I trapped him with my arms as he still attempted to get away,fucking pussy.
I punched him twice as I felt him kneeing my back ,grabbing my dagger and slitting his throat.
FIVE

I stared at the last guard that had his eyes wide in fear , shaking in the corner. Well I'm not the most selfish person I respect some elders ,but I also had a job to do .
I closed up on the guy as he dropped to the ground in fear looking at me in the eye. I smiled through my mask putting my finger to my mouth signalling his silence,which he vigorously nodded at.
No matter though I trust no one , I pulled out a syringe stabbing him with a sleeping drug , instantly watching him drop to the floor.
SEVEN
No time to waste, I ran to the door pushing it open as I felt the rush of cold air wash over my face.
"E I'm out "
