" Beauty is one thing, but a pure heart, that is beautiful."

Getting away from her grandmother was something Marya Montague dreamt of doing ever since she could remember, but finally attending the school she'd been told her parents attended together and found love in, it was simply astounding. Gazing up at the tall glass castle whose towers seemed to be in the clouds as it shimmered under the sunlight, excitement bubbled in the girl's stomach.
It was meant to be a long journey from Underland to the School for Good, but due to the Flowerground ticket her maid had gotten her and with the assistance of her personal guard, Marya was able to escape Salazen Grum and flee into the shadows of the night. She hoped that those who helped her were alright; her grandmother was known for being a cruel woman and severing heads when displeased. She always did say " It's better to be feared than to be loved."
Twinkling sounded and Marya twirled in glee at the sight of the fairies who flitted in circles around her, pixie dust thrown over her figure like a comforting blanket as her hair became windswept with the breeze of their little wings.
Her slippered feet touched the ground once more, and the fairies offered some honeybush tea as they dusted off any dirt on her dress and primped her chocolate-brown locks. They guided the girl to the frosted double-doors emblazoned with white swans just in time for them to open, and new ever-girls were herded into a mirrored corridor. Marya gazed around, her misty gray eyes taking in every detail she could as the others surrounded a poor girl dressed in black like a predator would its prey.
A princess with deep ruby red hair and a freckled porcelain complexion heard the brunette's footsteps and her hazel green eyes widened at the sight, quickly tapping her friend's shoulders who in turn glimpsed at Marya in surprise. Their distraction caused a chain reaction, and soon enough, they all stared in silence at the girl as she made her way to the one being questioned in confusion.
" Hello there. I'm Marya." The brunette said softly, offering the ravenette a kind smile.
It wasn't difficult to tell that the girl wasn't from around these parts or she wouldn't have looked so puzzled. Evers and Nevers alike heard of the School for Good & Evil in bedtime stories as children.
Marya observed as she stared at the princess with doubt but ended up saying,
" I'm Agatha."
As the brunette was about to say something else, a pretty blonde-haired girl with topaz eyes spoke out, making Marya give her her attention.
" Where do you come from, Marya?" She queried, her once-dazzling eyes turning unfriendly as she tested the name on her tongue. " Ginny Mill? Pumpkin Point? Maidenvale?"
The girl's once joyful demeanour dissipated as she knew what the blonde must be thinking.
" Underland." Marya revealed with no desire to hide her true identity.
It was no secret that she was raised by an infamous fairytale villain who was known throughout the woods for her beheadings. It was also no secret that her parents were the cause for Underland's Great War, which happened to start an economical crash for the Enchanted Forest back in the day because of the Kingdom's halt in productions that benefited the entirety of the woods. And no one could forgo the uncanny resemblance she held to her parents; the locks of her mother and the facial features of her father... but she had the eyes of the Red Queen.
