" Love could be labelled poison but we'd drink it anyways."

The Sun had finally nestled into the comforts of the night as the Moon graced the world with her ethereal glow, surrounded by stars that only added to her beauty. Torches lit the Clearing with a warm luminosity as the chosen students waited to be sent into the Blue Forest. Their uniforms all looked to fit except for Sophie's whose tunic drooped and dragged on the ground like a train.
Marya sat swathed by fuzzy blankets with Gavriel and Anthony at her sides, sipping at the hot cider the nymphs passed around to Evers. She snuggled into the Dulcinean prince's arms for warmth, and it took everything in her cousin's will not to hurl at the scene.
Everyone watched as Sophie was thrown into the Blue Forest first for Evil while Kiko was for Good. A screech left the blonde's throat as the spiders that consisted the new-and-improved gates probed her skin, and within a second, all was quiet.
♕
Hours passed, and both schools began to mingle as people started to believe that maybe the prince and witch could truly love each other; that Good and Evil could truly live together in harmony.
But everything came crashing down when the Wolves opened the gates. Sunlight exploded over the forest as the students stormed into the blue utopia, their footsteps thundering all around and causing the world to shake.
" They did it!"
" They won!"
" Sophie and Tedros!"
Marya followed the crowd on Anthony's arm, who guided the two towards the glen, where the Pendragon prince and the blonde Never would be waiting. A joyful smile spread on her face at the peace that settled between the schools, but it was wiped away clean when the students spotted Sophie cowering behind a bush while Tedros glared down at her, his eyes blazing with a fire so hot it could rival the flames of eternal damnation.
It was then that Evers and Nevers shifted apart once more, enemies eternal. There would be no peace.
♕
Tedros Pendragon was sullen and completely down in the dumps once news of Sophie faking her love for him spread. Evil rejoiced and named her one of the best captains they've had in ages, but Good spent their time trying to cheer-up the saddened and betrayed prince. After a few days of teasing, his friends put their opinions aside and did their best to make him return to himself, yet it seemed pointless until they noticed his wandering gaze towards the gray-eyed beauty.
Gavriel always knew of his friend's attraction towards his cousin, but after everything with Sophie, he didn't think there was anything left to cultivate. Perhaps he was wrong when he overheard the prince tell Chaddick, " I messed up royally. I went for another because I thought she was pretty when Marya was there the whole time. She's been nothing but kind to me and I ruined it all. Now she's with that guy. I fear I'm too late."
All the future-knight told the future-king of Camelot was that he better find a way to apologise and make the most grand romantic gesture to ever grace the Enchanted Woods. That would certainly be no easy feat.
