" Surely it is more generous to forgive and remember, than to forgive and forget."

Dinner had been enjoyable. Once all cleaned up with help from the Groom Rooms, Tedros ate his meal with Marya and her cousin, who turned out to be his roommate alongside Chaddick of Foxwood-a charming gray-eyed boy with brown locks that could be mistaken for Marya's long-lost twin brother if it weren't for his tall and intimidating stature.
They laughed, and they talked, jokes spouting from his lips as he tried to make the brunette giggle. Gavriel had endless stories of his childhood growing up in the White Queen's Court in the region of Marmoreal in Underland. She hesitantly gave him a taste of what her childhood was like, but no more than spilling the fact that the Crims was a desolate land, and that Salazen Grum was a harsh place to be raised in. It wasn't much, and it might be utterly obvious, but it was something. Marya also quite liked the interest Tedros showed in her life and how he wasn't driven away because of who raised her. His ocean blue eyes intently focused on her, watching the way her plump lips moved with every word she spoke; how her eyes lit up at the stories her cousin told. Tedros had been so occupied with flirting with a witch that he neglected what was right under his nose. She truly did look like an angel when she smiled.

As always, Marya Montague was up at the break of dawn to begin her routine before lessons; Hair? Check. Makeup? Check. Uniform? Check. Perfume? Check. Jewellery? Check. Agatha had awoken groggily in the midst of the brunette's ritual, grumbling about stupid riddles and stubborn friends as she moved along at a snail's pace.
The ravenette had spent the majority of her day with Marya, but when the brunette was with Gavriel-the prince who had accidentally given her his rose at the Welcoming-Agatha was being harassed by Tedros and his gang of imbeciles...That was until she told him off and left him speechless in front of his dumb friends. She couldn't believe that Marya liked the guy.
Finally joining her fellow ever-girls in the Charity Commons, Agatha noticed how all couches were full, yet no one made room for her. She went to sit on the floor until she spotted Marya absorbed in her novel beside Kiko, a short-haired girl with a sweet smile.
" Oh! There you are, Agatha!" The brunette exclaimed, a bright smile developing on her features. " Nice of you to join us."
" They'll all hate you now." The reader mumbled to the two, glancing at the glaring princesses as Marya returned to her novel, leaving Kiko and her roommate to make conversation.
" I don't understand how they can think of themselves Good and be so rude." Kiko whispered.
" Maybe because I almost burned down the school.
" They're just jealous. You can make wishes come true. None of us can do that."
" It was a fluke." Agatha stated bluntly. " If I could make wishes come true, I'd be home with my friend and my cat." The thought of her cat-Reaper-made Agatha hastily grasp for another subject. " Um...How's that boy you wished for?"
" Tristan?" Kiko's once pearly-white smile fell. " He likes Beatrix. Every boy likes Beatrix."
" But he gave you his rose." Agatha said, remembering the girl's wish at the lake.
