" Mirror, mirror on the wall, tell no more lies of who we are."

The attacks on Good seemed to be in full-swing after Sophie and the witches laced all the Ever-boy coats with rash powder the following day. Marya had to concoct an anti-itching remedy native to Underland to reverse the effects and soothe the princes who were quite whiny about it. Tedros kept thanking her for her kindness and complimenting her with swoon-worthy lines to the point she was beet-red and had to flee the room.
The third morning was no better when there were framed underpants replacing Juliet Capulet and Romeo Montague's portrait on the Legends Obelisk. Marya was doing everything in her power to retain her tears as Anthony held her close, and Gavriel demanded the culprits be found while Tedros glared at the dark towers across the bay. Professor Dovey was furious, and the sight of one of her best students on the verge of a breakdown did not help.
More acts were committed such as candied classrooms being flood with green goo that reeked of spoiled eggs and centuries old cheese, the Groom Room pools infested with stingrays, the hall of mirrors warped beyond recognition and the reflections of those who passed taunting them, released overfed pigeons in the Supper Hall, and even the toilets being enchanted to explode when a student sat on them.
Tedros soon had all Ever-boys on his nighttime guard, but the attacks escalated; the Good lake was turned to Evil sludge, linens were laced with insects, leeches were put into dinner's punch, locus were released during Uma's lecture in Animal Communications, a bull was sent charging towards the princes during Swordplay, the tower steps were cursed to scream bloody-murder every step taken and traps were set all around the school, causing even teachers to be victims.
Though the final straw was pulled when all the trees on the Good side of the Clearing were razed except for the one Sophie and Tedros used to sit under, the words LIAR carved into the trunk in jagged letters. Stunned and unsure of how to proceed, the Wolves and Nymphs howled for the teachers, and immediately created a boundary between Evers and Nevers. Tedros stormed up to the line, his eyes aflame with Marya not far behind since the Pendragon wanted to talk before needing to call out to the blonde reader.
" Stop it. Now."
Everyone followed his gaze to Sophie, who sat unbothered against a snowy tree on the Evil side.
" Or what?" She simpered. " You'll catch me?"
" Now you really sound like a villain." Tedros sneered, his hand flexing as he yearned to hold the dainty hand belonging to a certain brunette for some comfort.
" Careful, Teddy. What will they say when we dance at the Ball?"
" All right, now you've lost it-"
" Here I thought you were a prince." Sophie, walking towards him. " Because you promised to take me to the Ball right in this very spot. And a prince never breaks his promise."
Gasps rang all around and a frown made its way onto Marya's lips as she truly looked at Sophie. The girl was truly heartbroken, but making everyone suffer to feel her misery was not the manner of going about it.
