" Breaking off pieces of yourself to fit into places will not help you belong, it will only make you bleed."

The sound of little paws pattering against the gleaming floor is what led Agatha and Marya to the owner of the black rats. They blended into shadows, making it nearly impossible to follow them prior to ending up in front of a bathroom door.

The two girls were definitely not surprised to find an angry Hester and annoyed Anadil hiding away from the Dean. They were most displeased with the changes, and they made it quite known that Agatha and Sophie screwed everything up for the Enchanted Woods.

" So let me get this straight," Hester glared at the ravenette reader, straddling a gilded sink in her ragged Never tunic she never bothered to remove. " Tedros wants to kill Sophie. Sophie wants to kill Tedros. And unless you get to Gavriel and somehow manage to sneak Marya into Evil to see that blonde ninny, everyone in this school dies."

Agatha nodded weakly, not bothering to glance over at a quiet Marya as they all caught up. She had really screwed up. Love and destiny, she had learned, was not to be messed with.

" Look, I'm hungry, dirty, haven't slept, and an army of boys is trying to kill my best friend," The reader's voice cracking with stress. " I just want us to go home alive."

" And yet you wished for Gavriel, which seems to suggest you don't want to go home at all." Hester sneered, observing her sharpened nails.

Marya watched on as her friend argued with the witches who used to inhabit Malice tower, her mind full of contemplation. Hester was right. The former Evers needed to see their princes. The Enchanted Woods needed to be restored to its former glory; the world was off kilter. Equality could be achieved one day, but not like this. The Montague would have to watch her back with the Dean, especially since she was now to have private sessions with her.

" Sophie or Gavriel?" Hester mulled.

" Gavriel or Sophie?" Anadil stewed.

Their heads whipped around to Agatha in unison, scaring both girls as they chorused, " Gavriel!"

" But that's wrong! I don't want a prince!"

Marya sighed in exasperation, catching the occupants of the Honor bathroom's attention.

" You wouldn't be here if you truly wished for Sophie. This is your second chance for a happy ending, and you're just going to give it all up without any consideration?" The brunette boldly queried, making the witches grin in agreement as Agatha gaped in surprise.

" Listen to Miss Fancy Pants!" Hester screeched before getting into it with the ravenette once more. " Do you know what you've put us through?"

Marya leaned her head against the wall as the two girls bickered. It would be a while, so why not make herself comfortable?

Sophie walked through the castle that used to be for Good, her eyes wide in awe as she was saluted everywhere the Dean guided her. It felt surreal to be so admired. But as the blonde glanced around at the glass structure, her stomach sank. Why wouldn't Agatha fall for the fantasy she once mocked? Everything was so beautiful.

" She wants to see him." Sophie confessed to Sader, her voice soft, as if afraid her friend would overhear.

The Dean's face hardened, and she shunted Sophie behind the stairwell as girls streamed by. " If she kisses Gavriel, all is lost. If Marya kisses Tedros, we are doomed."
