The night Shoto and his driver dropped you off, Aizawa informed you of their decision to ask all students to live at their dorms for safety purposes. And a few days later, people started arriving, including Shoto. After a couple of days, everyone had moved in and seemed to be enjoying their time, having room decoration contests and whatnot. It was so much fun and helped you bond with your classmates.

One day you're taken back to school (despite it still being summer vacation) to start training for the provisional hero license exam. More specifically, you will be coming up with special moves. Others head to Gym Gamma but you join them after first going to Recovery Girl's office. She looks at the scars on your arms in surprise.

"Where did you get these?" she asks, her voice full of unusual concern.

"It's a super long story," you try to laugh it off as if it was a funny incident.

"Well, my quirk won't help, but try this ointment," she says as she gives you a tub of cream. "It should at least help if not get rid of them completely."

With such good news, you head to Gym Gamma to train, but first need to brainstorm for special moves. You like the idea of using One For All with your birth quirk to move around and restore your energy at the same time. So you go off of that, wondering how you could deal with the motion sickness. At the end of the day, you realize that you should train at lower speeds until you're comfortable and only then increase your speed. You're looking forward to practicing it more the next day. You're also excited about the lotion, so you apply it even before walking back to the dorm. At the dorm you decide to wear a loose zip-up hoodie to hide the scars and not get lotion on everything you touch.

A lot of students (Iida, Kaminari, Jirou, Yaoyorozu, Mina, Sero, Kirishima, for example) decide to hang out in the main area and chat about their day, mostly sharing their ideas and getting others' feedback. You and Shoto are there as well, sitting as close to each other as possible without it making others uncomfortable or screaming "We're dating!!"

"Tsukauchi, you have a visitor!" Aizawa calls you out from the group. Without you even noticing, your dad had come to see you.

You go to hug him, but, glancing back, you can still see Shoto sitting where he was, his eyes glued to you. You smile at him but then direct your attention to your dad.

"Sunshine, something happened at the police station earlier today."

Instead of your heart beating, it turns into stone. That's how it felt like when he said that. You notice how the others have stopped talking in the background as well. He cuts right to the chase.

"We've been interrogating the Hero Killer: Stain for all this time, but always felt like he was hiding something. But we had no proof, it was just a feeling, so we ignored it for a while. But when we met an official with a truth quirk, we just couldn't miss the opportunity," he explains in his distant, professional voice. "You must guess what we found out."

You stare at the ground as your throat tightens as tears start to gather in your eyes. He takes your arm and pulls up the sleeve. "All doubt is gone now." Heart beating uncontrollably, you manage to look at your father, his expression mixed with anger and concern. He's not expecting a reply.

He sighs. "I was asked to turn a blind eye to your conduct at the training camp, but then I find out that already before that you were abusing the power entrusted to you, getting involved with and then concealing your knowledge about the Hero Killer."

"But he was caught, right!? And he didn't hurt Iida!" you scream, tears streaming down your face. "And what about the sidekick he would have killed? And all the other heroes he would have hurt or killed?"
