The two sisters sneaked out of the house together.
After the incident between Areum and Gumi, they no longer dared to talk about the concert. That's why they were both particularly careful when they left the house together. Unfortunately, the path led the girls past their mother's windows, which meant that Gumi and Yeonah could see the woman hanging over a mountain of papers with a furrowed brow and red eyes - she had probably been crying. Luckily, Areum didn't notice her children, but the sight stuck in their minds. Gumi wished it had been possible to avoid the discussion, but it was predictable that she would have to reveal her interest in the competition at some point. The 22-year-old couldn't keep it to herself forever, but now, after Areum's reaction, Gumi felt disappointment.
The redhead had actually hoped that she would receive support.
That's why Gumi couldn't stop thinking about the conversation, even when the girls arrived at the concert hall and discovered many people already standing there in a long queue. There were quite a few people who had already been standing here for an hour to get the best seat in time. They arrived at two doormen who scanned their tickets with a scanning device and finally let them pass with a nod.
Yeonah tried to weave her way through the crowd. She held the ticket in one hand and tried to study the order of the groups while holding Gumi's with the fingers of her other hand so as not to lose her.
"Are you excited? After all, it's been almost three weeks since you've seen him," Yeonah asked, consciously avoiding calling Taehyun by name.
She was actually even more excited than she had been back then, because Gumi had been able to get to know him a little in the meantime. It would certainly make a big difference and be quite unusual to see him on stage. He wouldn't even know if she was there and Gumi wouldn't be able to talk to him either. But the redhead was happy to listen to his voice.
"Yeah, pretty much," Gumi admitted, struggling to keep up with Yeonah. "It's a ... strange situation."
The girls continued to squeeze through the crowd, past the merch stand and the bar. Smiling, Yeonah stopped after a while because they had a good view of the stage. And it wasn't long before the first group appeared on it.
Yeonah turned to Gumi.
"Maybe you'll see a different side of him."
Gumi nodded uncertainly and took off her jacket to tie the garment around her waist. "Maybe it'll help me realize that he's one and the same person," the redhead said loudly into Yeonah's ear because the music was already too loud to talk at a normal volume. "Somehow, I'm having a hard time with this."
The eldest sister chipped in to Gumi, pulling the younger one closer to her so they didn't have to raise their voices quite so much.
"Why? Is it starting to unsettle you?"
Gumi nodded with her lower lip pushed forward, emphasizing her insecurity even more and showing that the matter with Taehyun was really important to her. That was also the reason why she really wanted to go to this concert. Gumi was also sure that the tickets were meant for her. "I can't quite believe that this is his world," the girl spread her arms out as far as she could and earned a few annoyed looks from people she accidentally touched, "his world."
