Third POV
The sparks coming out of the two aces' eyes were red and blue. The sheer intensity coming off of these two was insane, it was the most that anyone had ever felt during this whole tournament. The Zone was really on another level of playing, it was crazy. With both Kagami and Aomine now in the Zone, the amount of focus that they both had on both the ball and one another was just so sharp and so keen that it almost seemed impossible to even achieve such a level of focus.
The In-The-Zone tiger now had the ball, dribbling it at a regular speed to start out with as Aomine just stayed right where he was. However, right when the tiger was just getting ready to move, the navy blue haired ace also made his move, the colored sparks coming from both of their eyes beginning to mesh together as the two of them made their moves.
Both the tiger and panther soon started trying to get the best of one another, both of them weaving and darting off to the side at these crazy angles that almost seemed impossible to be achieved. Every time it looked like Kagami was about ready to get past Aomine to break free, the navy blue haired boy would just shoot right back in front of him. And they just both kept going at it just like that, all of this being done at such an incredible speed.
The two aces were getting closer to Imayoshi, but because they were in the Zone, both of them just darted past him like he wasn't even there to begin with. The black haired captain of Touou couldn't even keep up with what had just happened too, this whole thing was just insane. The tiger still had the ball, and once he had gotten to the free throw line, Kagami didn't at all hesitate to quickly jump into the air and bring his arm back with the ball in hand in order to slam it into the hoop.
However, Aomine wasn't going to simply allow that to happen. He was quick to get up in the air too, smacking the ball right out of the redhead's hand before he could even get close to the hoop. It wasn't going to be that easy, and Aomine wasn't going to make it easy for Seirin to win in these last few minutes of the game.
Just like he kind of planned, the ball that the navy blue haired ace had just smacked out of Kagami's hand soon flew right to Sakurai, who caught it with ease. The shy boy, however, was still kind of in a state of shock with how much power he was feeling from both his teammate and his opponent. It was the most intense he had ever felt from a game in his entire life. Even if he had watched games like this on TV, nothing compared to being on the court and experiencing this.
Once the two aces landed back on the ground, Aomine didn't hesitate to start sprinting back towards Touou's side of the court with Kagami quickly in tow as Sakurai seemed to snap out of his amazed daze. Hyuga saw that the apologetic mushroom was getting ready to chuck the ball, and tried to jump in front of him as quick as he could to stop him. It was no use, the light brown haired boy threw the ball right to Aomine as he caught it with ease.
It was now back to the two aces going head to head like they had been just seconds beforehand. The two boys were once again moving at these crazy speeds, their reflexes off the charts as one kept trying to break free of the other. The navy blue haired boy soon was able to jump up and toss the ball in order to make a formless shot. But with Kagami being in the Zone now, the tiger was able to spike the ball out of the air before it could make it to the basket.
