Third POV
"I want you...to teach me how to shoot," Kuroko stated clear as day, well, night right now.
But those words, there was no mistaking them at all. It was the last thing that Aomine ever expected to hear from the guy who had solely just done passing for as long as he had known him. Safe to say it had thrown the navy blue haired boy for a flippin' loop and a half as he arched his eyebrow before letting his thoughts just become words.
"What the fu-"
"Ah! Language!" (Y/N) yelled as she shot her hands to her ears to cut him off from finishing that word, giving her friend a bit of a warning look.
And he didn't finish it. Her yelling kind of made him jump anyway. Still, the miracle ace was in shock. Like, he was second questioning his own hearing. Shaking his head, Aomine was still trying to make sure he wasn't in some sort of weird time warp where Kuroko suddenly just wanted to shoot. But, no, he wasn't. This was reality. Although, Aomine refused to believe it unless someone confirmed it for him.
The navy haired boy soon looked over at the (h/c) haired girl before pointing his finger towards the light blue haired phantom.
"Did I...Did I just hear him right?" The miracle ace questioned, still in disbelief that he had just heard that coming from Kuroko.
But like the triple threat had been silently kind of just telling her former teammate to just roll with it, she supposed she could give him a verbal confirmation so that he didn't drive himself nuts or overthink this all that much.
"Yep," the tall girl nodded and confirmed that Aomine did indeed hear Kuroko correctly.
The thing was, the light blue haired boy had been working on his shooting with Kagetora one on one ever since the training camp. He was even taking some advice from (Y/N)'s father whenever she couldn't be there to help him out. Perks of being a long time friend of the triple threat. So it wasn't like this was so out of the blue, then this would be a bit of a different story.
Still, even if he had it confirmed for him, even if he knew he wasn't hallucinating in any sort of way, Aomine still...well, he was left speechless really. Like, he had no words except for three.
"What the hell."
Well, Kuroko was rather eager to get this shooting practice started since there really wasn't much time to waste. The three miracles soon went to a nearby court with the phantom bringing out his emergency basketball that came in handy for times like this. Also made sure that Aomine wouldn't try to give an excuse to get out of this. Besides, the light blue haired boy remembered what the elder Aida had told him. About that wall that he was going to be running into soon.
At first, both him and (Y/N) thought that it might've been Aomine being as that that was his former light. But now that they both thought and talked about it, they both realized it must've been the light blue haired boy's shooting that Kagetora really meant. Well, now that he had Aomine here, Kuroko figured it'd best be time to showcase where he was on the shooting scale of performance.
