We left the hotel right after we woke up. Bright and early considering the fact we had sex multiple times until nearly four in the morning. All things considered leaving at eight wasn't bad. The two of us were still unsure of our choice but trying to make the best of it.

Elliot stopped for food before we left town, ordering one of each breakfast option to be safe after the onion ring incident. The lady at the window gave us the oddest look when we got up to pay, making both of us nervous.

"Is this like a prank or do you actually want one of everything?" She asked brow raised at us.

"My wife is pregnant, her favorite food made her puke last night so we're covering our bases." Elliot explained smiling as he handed her the cash.

"You're a good husband. Congratulations, you married a keeper sweet heart." Her face instantly changed as she spoke.

"I'm sorry I shouldn't of said that." Elliot was looking at me with puppy dog eyes after she closed the window.

"I'm starting to feel more okay with the parasite." I smiled looking down. "You are a good husband."

Elliot just kissed my hand as we waited for the food. It was about ten minutes before she handed us two bags with a smile. He decided to park just so I could sniff things and see if they would make me sick or not. The answer was that eggs and potatoes were okay, cheese and bacon also got a pass. But sausage was a no go.

Elliot being the person he was drove across the street to a a group of un housed people. He just gave me a little smile as he took everything I hadn't laid claim to out to the group. He took a minute to talk to them and hand them some cash with the food before getting back into the car without a word. The two of us once again on our journey to Oklahoma.

With our stops for food and bathroom breaks we made it into town at about nine at night. Elliot's entire mood shifted when we got there. He was anxious and looked like he was going to throw up practically. It was obvious he was having a hard time with it.

"That's my dads store right there." He said pointing to a little hardware store that was closed for the night. "That's the diner where I had my first date, first job other than with my dad was at the movie theater down there"

"Promise me you'll show me everything while we're here. You got to see where I grew up, fair is fair." I smiled as I took his hand in mine.

"I promise, you just have to be okay with me parading you around." His hand gently squeezed mine as he spoke.

"It was my destiny to be the trophy wife. What does your dad think you do for work?" I asked as he sighed.

"He thinks I work for a consulting company, the clean version of what we are. He thinks you and Nate are lawyers, Parker a private eye, Sophie a media consultant, Hardison and Jenna tech analysts. You can use your real name. I figured that was easier." He explained sounding worried.

"You ready to see him again?" I asked quietly.

"I am, the house is only about ten minutes away." He said equally as quiet as he turned onto another road.

Within no time we were pulling into Elliot's old driveway. The house was a small ranch style, plenty of land, looked like some cattle and horses. Big garden in the back telling me exactly where he learned to grow so much.

Elliot sat practically paralyzed in the car. I'd never seen him so nervous. His eyes got big as I saw the door open. An older man was stepping onto the porch, his face turning into a smile as he saw Elliot.

"Come on my love." I said rubbing his arm before opening my door waving shyly as I stepped out. I got a wave back from him with a smile. Elliot still was unmoving as I did so though.
