It's hard to believe it's been two months since we moved into the house, everyone has settled in so well. The leverage main office has officially moved for the, god I don't know, fifth time? It's now officially in Santa Barbara. Elliot and I have had Forest for the last week while Nate and Sophie are in London finishing up the UK branch with Kayte and Jenna. It's been nice having Forest in the house with everyone.

Parker and Hardison have all but moved in despite being offered the lease on Shawn's apartment. I think Parker is just feeling extra insecure with everything that's happened. I've spent so much time away from her so I can't blame her. I know she's jealous of Juliet, so letting her stay here isn't the end of the world.

We had the nursery all but ready, and Beth was totally settled into her new normal. She's been painting murals throughout the house with our permission. It started in her room, then the nursery, and it's slowly spread throughout the house. She's keeping up with her online classes so I can't say much if that's how she wants to spend her days.

All but two rooms were spoken for now and the basement slowly got filled with the bat-cave contents. All of this left me and Elliot with very little space. Luckily there was a den we converted into a little music room. It was probably my favorite part about the house. It was the only place I could find quiet when everyone was here. Elliot and I spend a lot of nights tucked away in there working on music.

The chaos would only grow once Billy got here. Since I'm getting so close to my due date he's insisting on visiting until they're born to help. He's been even more insistent since he learned about Beth. He knew we wouldn't need the help, but I think he's still desperate to maintain contact with Elliot. After everything with Moreau, Elliot went dark for a while and I think it really scared him.

"Hey, you okay?" I heard Juliet's voice ringing in my ears as I snapped out of my trance.

"Yeah I'm okay, sorry I was thinking about everything." I excused myself as I came back to reality. The two of us were parked outside of a crime scene on the edge of town. It was a standard cookie cutter house, not the usual place for a murder.

"Just let me know if you need to take a break." Juliet smiled as she grabbed my hand helping me out of the car.

The two of us made our way out of the car and up to the yellow tape. My belly was to the point it garnered a lot of disapproving glares at crime scenes, and a lot of hovering from Lassiter and Mcnabb. Luckily for me, it was just Juliet and I today.

"Okay, vic's name is Ashley Clinton, she's seventeen, pageant Queen, over achiever." Juliet rattled off from the paper in her hand. "It looks like an overdose but the suicide letter didn't sit right with the investigating officer, so here we are."

I looked around the room trying to analyze everything. Between Shawn and Elliot I've gotten good at reading things. Everything seemed pristine, organized, no signs of burnout or depression. The pills she overdosed on were laying by her hand, they looked to be a standard anti anxiety medication, nothing crazy. My eyes settled on a mostly finished cup of coffee on her nightstand. There was a slight film on it that caught my eye.

"Have the techs bag that mug, test if for the pills." I announced as I heard her mother behind me take a shaky breath.

"Are you seriously trying to turn my baby's suicide into a murder investigation so you can waste everyone's time? What's a woman in your condition even doing here?" She angrily rattled off as I felt that nagging pain I've had in my back all night pick back up.

"You're getting awful defense ma'am. What are we going to find if we test that coffee cup?" Juliet asked as she started bawling hitting the floor trying to distract everyone by grabbing at her chest. "Oh seriously? Someone call a bus."
