As the day went on, the students of 1-A kept talking about the Sports Festival, and how excited they were. This helped distract some of the tension that engulfed Midoriya's and Bakugou's packs, but ultimately, the pair was still stressed. They finally got a moment alone between classes. 

"Are you going to tell me what the hell you were thinking?" Bakugou growled, glaring at Midoriya once they didn't have their packs near them. 

"I was thinking I needed to help! I know how strong and capable All Might is, but that doesn't mean he couldn't use help!" Midoriya growled back, narrowing his eyes at the blond Alpha. 

"Kurogiri, the Alpha with the glowing necklace, was emitting pheromones that dropped Alphas to their knees dumbass, and you were still trying to fight Shigaraki?"

"I handled it! I saved Shinsou and Tsu back at the shipwreck zone too. I'm not an idiot Kacchan. I know how to fight" Midoriya huffed, running a hand through his hair.

"You are an idiot Deku! What if Shigaraki had gotten a hold of you, huh? What if he hurt you? Killed you? What the hell would you expect me to do then?" Bakugou yelled, balling his fists up. 

"Then you would have killed him, and the other rogue Alphas, and all would be over with. You know police work is dangerous. I won't stand back like a scared little Omega and leave the fighting to the Alphas, and you know it!" Midoriya snapped, silence taking over the pair as they breathed heavily, staring at one another, their anger slowly fading. "Look. You know me. I will fight for the equality of Alphas and Omegas just like All Might. I can't sit back and be a hypocrite. I'm going to be fighting and putting myself in danger. But I promise that I won't let myself get killed, okay?" Midoriya hummed, reaching his hand out for Bakugou to take. 

Bakugou huffed but took Midoriya's hand, pulling the green-haired Omega into a hug. "Yeah, I know. I hate seeing you in danger like that. If All Might hadn't shown up, I wouldn't have gotten there in time to save you, and that terrifies me," Bakugou finally admitted, bonking his head on top of his Omega's head. 

"It's okay Kacchan. I'm fine, the whole class is fine. No one except Aizawa-Sensei got hurt and most of the Alphas and Betas that came with Shigaraki were arrested. Let's stop worrying about U.S.J. and focus on the Sports Festival instead, okay?" Midoriya chirped, hugging the blond tightly before pulling away. "Come on it's lunch time" He smiled, pulling Bakugou with him out of the empty classroom they'd been talking in. 

All Might stopped the pair, holding a bagged lunch as he grinned. "Young-Midoriya! Would you care to have lunch with me today?" The tall Omega asked, almost awkwardly. Midoriya looked at Bakugou as the blond rolled his eyes.

"Yeah, I'll join you today," Midoriya nodded, still not used to interacting with his idol. He squeezed Bakugou's hand before scenting him and letting go. "Tell the others I'm with All Might, and I'll see you in class after lunch"

"Yeah, Okay." Bakugou kissed the top of Midoriya's head, walking away after scenting the green-haired Omega. Midoriya followed after All Might to his office again, taking a seat on the loveseat that he'd sat on last week when they had met after school.

"Apologies for the random invite. I am unable to meet with you after school today and I thought we could meet during lunch instead," All Might smiled, opening his lunch as Midoriya did the same.

"That's okay, I understand. With everything that happened yesterday, I didn't meet Midnight-Sensei yesterday and I completely forgot about this afternoon," Midoriya admitted, looking sheepishly up at All Might. 

"That makes sense. Did you get a chance to look over my email last week?" All Might asked, referring to the email about fated mates and the different colored mate marks. 

"No, I forgot about it! So much happened last week. Kacchan was confronted by the rogue Alphas again. And then he went into his rut early. And then the weekend was stressful and then yesterday happened" Mirdoriya rambled, filling All Might in on the rogue Alpha situation. 

"Yes, I heard about Young Bakugou's encounter with the rogue Alphas. He was with Young Kirishima and Todoroki, yes?"

"Yeah. So Kiri and Todo-kun came with me to the police station on Wednesday to file the police report instead of Kacchan since he was in his rut and couldn't," Midoriya nodded, eating his lunch.

"I think after that Shigaraki was shot, they'll stay hidden for a while. I suspect we won't see them around or hear of any other kids being attacked" All Might said, his voice showing a bit of relief. 

"I hope so. With Kurogiri, the Alpha with the glowing necklace and eyes, he can release that strong pheromone and it's really a hindrance to those trying to fight him. I also noticed that Shigaraki doesn't have a scent. I can't tell if he's really an Alpha or not, but he's clearly their leader. And I also noticed that Kurogiri's scent didn't bother you, why is that?" Midoriya rambled, looking up at All Might's amused smile. 

"I told you about how I never fully presented, never had my first heat, and can't have pups" All Might reminded Midoriya. "Along with all of that and my mate mark that's blackened, I don't get affected by Alpha scents anymore," All Might said, his fingers brushing the mark on his neck again. 

"Oh, that's right! A mated Omega doesn't get affected by other Alpha scents! And since your ex-Alpha is still alive, you won't be affected!" Midoriya looked excited by the information, muttering to himself as he thought about what it could mean if Bakugou finally marked him for real and he was on the police force.

"Not so fast kid, you don't need to be marked to hold your own. And, I also trained. If the pheromones are strong enough, like Kurogiri's are, I can still be affected. But I have trained with the machine that Midnight-sama uses and with real people so that I won't ever be taken advantage of," All Might responded, a serious look on his face. 

"So I still should train no matter what to avoid being controlled by scents," Midoriya nodded, understanding the gravity of the situation.

"On a positive note, let's talk about the Sports Festival. I want you to show Japan that Omegas aren't weak. I saw you fight. I'm primarily a public speaker. But I also work in the police force. Having a young protege such as yourself is a huge deal. I will publically endorse you to any agency I know after you show your talent at that Festival" All Might grinned.

The pair continued their conversation until lunch was over and Midoriya smiled as he finally headed back to class. He planned to tell Bakugou about the conversation and discuss everything later.
