~SEVENTEEN~

Midoriya wasn't going to lie. The weekend was beautiful. It was spent with a lot of studying, and a lot of yelling. But he spent it with Bakugou. They scented whenever they could, sneaking in kisses no matter whose house they were at. Inko had only caught them kissing once, and they weren't allowed to study in Midoriya's room anymore after that. Mitsuki tried to push the same after talking with Inko, but Masaru quickly pushed his wife to leave the boys alone to avoid the pheromones which Midoriya was thankful for. Monday came entirely too soon, and the boys dreaded dealing with their classmates. 

Bakugou had gotten up early to head through the alleys to get to Midoriya's house, texting him to hurry him up. A hidden smile made its way to his mouth when he saw the Omega run out of the house, bagged lunch in hand. "I didn't know you were going to walk with me to school, Kacchan. I would have gotten ready earlier if I'd known!" Midoriya grinned, his green eyes glowing as he paused to scent the blond. Bakugou rolled his eyes, though he scented back, leaving a kiss on Midoriya's forehead before taking the lunch from him, interlocking their fingers as he pulled him towards the school. 

"Of course I was going to walk with you, nerd. You better start getting ready earlier from now on. I won't wait on your ass forever" Bakugou chuckled, walking comfortably with Midoriya. He heard a light purr as Midoriya leaned into his side.

"You have to meet with Aizawa-Sensei after school today" Midoriya reminded the taller male. Bakugou snarled in response. He hadn't forgotten their conversation with Aizawa on Friday. He'd be meeting with him about his attitude, and whatever else. Bakugou knew his time would just be wasted with his teacher.

"You're going to wait for me, yeah?" Bakugou asked, looking over at him.

"I don't think they'll let me stay in the school that long unless I convince Midnight to work with me today on my Omega training. They want me to be able to withstand most Alpha's scents so I don't get taken advantage of." Midoriya whined. "But it's not like I would. I mean, I end up around Alphas all the time because of you, and so far nothing has happened! So I mean, Midnight might let me stay so then we can walk together and- What are you doing?" Midoriya cut off his mumbling as Bakugou shifted so he could tower over the Omega, stopping their walking.

"You're muttering again, Deku. Just ask the stupid teacher and get it over with when we get to school" Bakugou leaned over to kiss Midoriya, grinning at the immediate flush the male had from the simple peck. "Come on nerd, we got to actually get there before the bell" He shook his head, letting go of Midoriya's hand to swing his arm around the male's shoulders, continuing their trip to school. 

Entering the school gates, the Alphas and the Omegas that the boys were friends with swarmed them, the air thick with slight tension. Kirishima and Todoroki flanked Bakugou's left while Kaminari and Uraraka took Midoriya's right. Shinsou trailed behind the group. Midoriya felt like he was suffocating between all the scents, and took smaller breaths as he smiled at his friends.

"Hi guys! No Momo or Asui this morning?" Midoriya asked, tilting his head slightly. Bakugou still had his arm around his shoulders and Uraraka was staring with a slight tint to her face.

"Oh, huh. I guess not. Just me and Denks" the bubbly Omega chuckled nervously, stepping away from the group slightly as Kaminari slipped behind them to walk beside Shinsou. 

"It's good to see you guys. Sorry I didn't come over this weekend. I know I texted you, but I was studying with Kacchan. I'm all caught up now" He glanced behind him to the blond Omega and the purple haired Alpha who were both flushed while walking in silence which was abnormal for the Omega. 

"It's okay! Me and Denki hung out with Shinsou some this weekend. He's kind of shy" Uraraka lowered her voice, chuckling.

"Oh really, how did that go?" Midoriya smiled, his eyes lighting up slightly. 

"I'll tell you about it later" Uraraka smiled assuringly, looking down at her hands. Midoriya nodded, his ears automatically picking up the Alphas' conversation.

"I can't believe you ditched hiking for studying, dude. Super unmanly" Kirishima whined, bumping Bakugou's side slightly. He growled in response, tightening his arm around Midoriya's shoulders. 

"The nerd needed to catch up. I wasn't going to let him fail. You should have studied too, Shitty Hair. Your grades are horrendous," the blond snorted, glaring slightly at Kirishima.

"Leave my grades alone, dude. I'm working on them. We can't all be top of the class" Kirishima glared back.

"Both of you, knock it off. We have three Omegas here, and I don't want to witness the submission of them if you release your pheromones" Todoroki growled lightly, stepping between the pair as they walked.

"Whatever, Half'n'half" Bakugou rolled his eyes, loosening his grip on Midoriya again. He looked at the Omega as they entered the school doors. "Go find Midnight. Don't be late to class" He let go of his shoulders, electing not to kiss him in front of their classmates.

"I won't. I'll see you guys in class!" Midoriya waved at everyone, smiling brighter at Bakugou before heading toward the office where the teacher's lounge was. 

"So you're really going to try that again?" Shinsou spoke quietly, earning stares from the Alphas and Omegas around him.

"What's it to you, Insomniac?" Bakugou bristled, meeting the male's tired purple eyes.

"He's my friend, and theirs, and we don't want to see him get hurt again." Shinsou stood his ground, looking down at Bakugou. He had two inches on the blond, but everyone knew that Bakugou had the muscle.

"As his friend, you should stay out of his business. Whatever we have going on is of no concern to you"

"I would actually like if you don't hurt him again, Bakugou" Uraraka spoke up, glaring at the Alpha who blinked down at her in surprise. "He's been through a lot the past few years, and we just barely got him back on his feet." 

"As if you could protect him, Round Face. He needs an Alpha" Bakugou stepped toward her, threateningly. Shinsou and Kaminari moved to flank her sides, the trio baring their teeth at him. Bakugou scoffed, brushing past them towards the classroom. He wouldn't attack them in school. He knew better than that. He clenched his fists as he walked alone, struggling to contain his pheromones.

"That was very brave, and stupid, Uraraka" Todoroki shook his head at the Omega as he watched Bakugou's retreating form.

"You guys didn't see Izu-chan at his worst. What Bakugou breaking up with him did. I won't let that happen again, ever. I don't care what my biology is. No one will treat him that way again" Uraraka glared at Todoroki, surprised when he nodded at her.

"I understand how bad he got. But we aren't in middle school anymore. If this ends badly, that's on them. We just need to be there to pick up the pieces, wherever they may fall. Come on, Kiri. We need to get to class," the Alphas left the Omegas and Shinsou in the hallway, the chatter from their schoolmates silenced from the outbursts of the group.

"Bakugou isn't used to people standing up to him. He's a mess, but the longer that he's with Midoriya, the better his attitude is getting. Midoriya is doing something good to him. We just have to hope that it stays that way. Come on, guys" Shinsou smiled lightly at the pair, grabbing both of their hands gently as he led them to class.
