The sun was setting as Bakugou and Midoriya walked up to the Omega's house. Bakugou kept his arm around the other, glancing over his shoulder as he waved his mother off. She had refused to let the pair walk and insisted on dropping them off at the front door. Inko stood in the doorway, her pheromones filling up the yard as the boys walked up to her. She waved to Mitsuki as the other Alpha drove away, ushering the boys inside as she shut and locked the door, clicking shut a new deadbolt that hadn't been there when Midoriya had left for school. Inko quickly wrapped her son in a hug, dragging Bakugou into it as well.

"I am so glad you two are safe. But Bakugou, why didn't you go to the police in the first place?" Inko sounded more concerned than upset, but the shift in her pheromones gave her away.

"Because it wouldn't have done any good. These assholes have attacked plenty of Alphas and gotten away with it so far. Going to the police with the description of one wasn't going to do anything. Now I know the names of three of them. But they seem to be able to vanish in thin air. I don't think the police are going to be able to do anything" the Alpha pulled from the group hug, an annoyed scowl plastered on his face as he kept a hand on Midoriya's lower back. Inko stared up at him, narrowing her eyes slightly.

"You have my son in danger now, Katsuki! You have your friends in danger! Your family. These so-called assholes are ruthless, and attack in the dark. They shut down communication of an entire block in broad daylight just to talk to you. One came to your house and spoke with your mother, and my son just to hunt you down! I do not care what you thought in the first place. You should have gone to the police and given them what you had! You might have been able to stop this before they even got this far!" Midoriya pulled away from Bakugou to flatten himself against the front door as Inko shoved a finger into Bakugou's chest, the room getting smaller to the Omega as Bakugou and Inko had clashing anger pheromones mixing.

"If I had gone to the police with just the one and gotten his face out there, Inko, then the rest of them would have gone after me anyways! No one has seen their faces, let alone been able to speak much about it! These guys know what the hell they are doing and have no issue hurting people in the process! I didn't think they'd come after me, no. But as the one person that got a look at crusty in the first place, then they'd definitely know it was me that went to the police about him! I will happily go tomorrow if it will make you feel better. But then you'll have Alphas posted outside your door 24/7 and with two Omegas that go into heat, no matter how much suppressants those assholes take, they'll be able to smell you! There just isn't enough Betas with the strength in the police force that will be able to protect you Inko! Right now, my friends and I are all you have. I'm staying here tonight to ensure your safety, and I'm posting a Beta here while I'm in my rut. I will not be here during that!" Bakugou growled, baring his teeth to the Omega, though he was holding back. He couldn't afford to slip up and force her into submission. He might actually die from that.

"Then we all sleep in the same room! I'm not leaving you alone with my Izuku, no matter who you are! I love you to death, Katsuki. But you have seriously fucked up, and I need you to see that. Izuku, darling, go get the air mattress from the hall closet. We'll stay in the living room tonight." Inko growled back before pausing to smile at Midoriya. He let out a gust of air at the slight change in the pheromones, moving to dart down the hallway, stopping first in his room. He opened his window, brushing sweat off his forehead as he dropped his backpack on the floor. He'd only heard his mother speak like that a handful of times, and when she spoke like that, she was either seriously pissed off or scared. Midoriya definitely felt like she was somewhere in the middle on this. He was scared too. He didn't know when or if these people were going to show up. He'd called Mistuki "Auntie" in front of one of them, and said he and Bakugou were just friends. But he still felt the overwhelming stare that he'd gotten from the male with the glowing yellow eyes. If they were serious about getting Bakugou, then they'd have no problem going through the Omega. Tears pricked at the edges of Midoriya's eyes as he pulled away from the window, shutting the glass again. He sat on the edge of his bed, focusing on his breathing as he felt a wave of calm wash over him. He looked up to see Bakugou leaning against his doorframe, a concerned look on the blond. Midoriya opened his arms, burying his head in Bakugou's shoulder as the Alpha dropped to his knee to pull the Omega into a hug.
