The Sports Festival comes and goes, with Bakugou winning first while Todoroki got second and Tokoyami was third. Midoriya had fought brilliantly, landing fifth place, a surprise for all of the Omegas of the school. All of the other Omegas had lost their first round. Midoriya had beaten Shinsou, a surprise for everyone including the purple-haired Alpha. But Midoriya couldn't beat Todoroki. All Might had told Midoriya he was proud of him and his achievements. Then the students got a couple of days off to rest and reconvene after the festival. Midoriya, Bakugou, and their packs spent that time hanging out and getting closer than before.

Returning to school, each of the students was surprised to see Midnight standing before their class as it began. "Good morning lovely students! I am here to oversee those who wish to enter the police force and come up with an alias! Just like I chose Midnight, All Might chose that, and Aizawa here chose Eraserhead, though he doesn't use it anymore. I will veto names I don't like and let you know which names are excellent!" The Omegan teacher purred, excited pheromones circling her.

"What if we aren't joining the police force, kero?" Asui asked, raising her hand.

"Come up with a name for fun! You never know when you might need or want to use it!" Midnight clapped her hands together, passing out white boards for each of the students to write their aliases. Midoriya stared at his board, unsure of what to put. He had never really thought about it before. He waited for his classmates to go first.

"I chose Alien Queen!" Ashido bounced up in front of the class, immediately rejected by Midnight.

"Froppy, Kero," Asui said, having her name accepted.

"Chargebolt!" Kaminari grinned, happy when Midnight accepted his name. He wasn't joining the police force, but he had always thought of his alias.

"Red Riot," Kirishima said, flexing his muscles and his red hair as Midnight accepted his name. Midoriya knew that Kirishima was going to be a force once they were in the police force.

"Shoto," Todoroki said, looking bored as Midnight complained that it was just his name. The Alpha sat back down, ignoring his friends' complaints that he was being boring again.

Bakugou smirked as he stood up, slamming his board down, "King Explosion Murder!"

"No, absolutely not, too violent," Midnight said, shaking her head as Bakugou grumbled, returning to his seat angrily.

"Mindjack. Or Nighthide. I haven't decided" Shinsou stood up next, displaying his board. Midnight praised both, which didn't help Shinsou decide anymore.

"Uravity!" Uraraka laughed as she stood up. Midnight approved it on account of it being cute.

The rest of the class stood up, one by one, to announce their name whether they were going into the police force or not. Midoriya still hadn't decided on a name by the time it was his turn. He scribbled something down, moving to the front of the class and turning the board so everyone could see it. He got a lot of confused looks as he spoke.

"I want Deku to be my alias"

"Are you sure? Doesn't that mean useless?" Midnight asked, confused by the content smile on Midoriya's face.

"Yes, but it's a name that means a lot to me. And despite that, I have proven again and again that I'm not useless. I'm an Omega who is going to enter the police force and change how people view Omegas. I am going to follow in All Might's footsteps. People view Omegas as useless, and I want to wear that name proudly as I show the world that isn't true" Midoriya said, confidence in his voice as he looked at Midnight who smiled and accepted his name and his words. He returned to his seat, smiling at Bakugou's confused expression as Midnight wrapped up her talk, leaving so Aizawa could teach the class, though he just told the students to do whatever until their next class, leaning back in his seat.

"Izuku-chan! That's so brave! Deku sounds similar to Dekiru which means 'you can do it' and I think that play on words is incredible" Uraraka grinned as she hoped up to sit on Midoriya's desk.

"You're choosing the name I bullied you with?" Bakugou asked, still confused.

"I mean. You started calling me that when we were kids. It's been used a lot longer than when you bullied me, Kacchan. But I want to prove to the world that even a 'useless' Omega is capable of incredible things. So yeah. I'm choosing Deku" Midoriya smiled, happy as his friends talked about their names, still picking on Todoroki for just going with his first name.

~Okay, so this was a short chapter just for fun. I know I skipped a lot. But since this isn't a story with quirks, I realized the sports festival wasn't REALLY that important. And neither is the hero killer arc, so I'm skipping over that one too. Sorry, not sorry. I want to be able to branch off of the normal story line soon. But I have to get to the point where it's all going to change first.  So I hope you've enjoyed my return. Being an adult sucks, and I want to post more often, I just struggle. So I'm going to try to write many chapters ahead and then schedule them to post at certain times. Wish me luck! Love you all!
