It was late once the boys decided they'd studied enough. Bakugou had moved from the desk to the bed and the pair were cuddled together, watching All Might videos on the Alpha's phone. The Omega was a public speaker as well as one of their teachers at school, and his sole purpose was to educate the masses on why Omegas were a vital part of the world outside of being breeders. Though his topics were more adult than the two sixteen year olds should be listening to, Inko had raised Midoriya listening to the popular Omega's words. She wanted her son to feel like he could do anything he put his mind to. Bakugou had in turn grown up idolizing the male. He was strong, and powerful, even without being an Alpha. People listened to him, and hung off his every word. Though Bakugou didn't want to be an Omega, he wanted to be like All Might. He wanted people to listen to him. He wanted to be seen as powerful outside of his sub-gender. This world just didn't view things that way.

Midoriya attempted to hide a yawn as he snuggled closer into Bakugou's chest. The blond chuckled slightly, running his free hand through Midoriya's curls. The other hand held his phone with the videos. He paused the one they were watching, an informational piece about Omegas in the workforce. They'd watched this video hundreds of times at this point in their lives. "I should probably head home. The old hag and my dad will be home tomorrow, and I need to clean the house before they do" Bakugou spoke softly, hating the pout that looked up at him.

"I don't want you to leave, but you're right. Auntie will not be happy if the house isn't cleaned" Midoriya said quietly, leaning up to kiss the edge of Bakugou's jaw since it was the only thing he could really reach. "Text me when you're home?" he asked. Bakugou flushed as a response.

"Yeah, yeah. I will, nerd" He huffed, locking his phone and pocketing it, though he didn't move from his position. The pair laid there for a while longer, enjoying the silence until Inko stood in the doorway with a hand on her hip.

"I love you, Katsuki. But it's time for you to go home. I'm controlling sleepovers from now on," she held a slight fire in her eyes that prompted Bakugou to pull himself off the Omega's bed with a groan.

"Mom!" Midoriya pulled himself to a sitting position. "We weren't even doing anything. We were watching All Might videos"

"I don't care what you were doing. I don't want to pull the mom card. But here we are. It's dark outside, and-" Bakugou cut her off with a gentle voice.

"I understand, Auntie. I was getting ready to head out anyway. My parents are coming home tomorrow, and I need to clean up the house. Thank you for letting me study with Izuku. Is it okay if he comes over tomorrow once my parents are home?" Bakugou asked, meeting the shorter woman's eyes as he grabbed his bookbag and blazer. Inko narrowed her eyes slightly, though she sighed.

"Yes, that's fine. Make sure you text Izuku when you get home. I don't like the idea of you walking across town in the dark, even if it is a few streets," Inko left the room, leaving the boys alone again.

"She's going to get on my nerves with that. We weren't even doing anything" Midoriya whined, hiding his face in his hands.

"We were making out when we got home. She has a right. It's annoying yes, but I'm not fighting with her on it" Bakugou shook his head, his scowl set back on his face. "Walk me to the door, nerd" He stood by the door while Midoriya pulled himself to his feet, padding after Bakugou to the front door, ignoring his mother in the living room. They could both feel her eyes on them. Bakugou slid his shoes on, Midoriya walking him outside to stretch up, leaving a small kiss on the Alpha's lips. "Get back inside, dumbass, it's cold" Bakugou shivered from the slight wind that surrounded them.

"Text me. I'm serious."

"I can take care of myself. Get inside or I won't" Bakugou raised an eyebrow, kissing Midoriya's forehead before pushing him back towards the door.

"Bye, Kacchan" Midoriya called, watching the Alpha walk away. He shut the door once Bakugou got far enough away, running to his room to avoid an awkward conversation with his mother. He pulled out his journal once he shut his door, diving into writing.

Bakugou walked with his hands shoved in his pockets after pulling his blazer on. It was October, so it was unsurprising that it was cold, but Bakugou still hated the cold. As an Alpha, he was typically hot blooded, but the colder months really took a lot out of him. The days were nice, but nights got cold during Autumn. His mind was set on Midoriya as he walked, a small smile hinting on his lips as he was away from prying eyes. He took a shortcut down an alley, so he wouldn't have to walk past the school to get home. A feeling of being followed settled on his shoulders, but he didn't see anyone as he glanced behind him. He couldn't smell anyone else either as he picked up speed. He wasn't going to get caught out by some criminal Alpha. The rates of high schoolers getting mugged by rouge Alpha's were going up in Japan. Bakugou knew he could handle some thug, but he wasn't going to even try to explain why he was beat up to his parents or Midoriya.

The city officials were working on apprehending the criminals in charge of the muggings, but Bakugou knew they weren't doing enough. He was working on becoming a member of the police force along with Todoroki and Kirishima. Mainly Alphas were a part of the force because of their pheromones. They could apprehend people easier, but Bakugou knew that All Might's presence in the media was prompting more and more Omegas trying for the police force. That included Midoriya. The nerd was going to follow the blond anywhere.

A low growl alerted Bakugou to another Alpha behind him. He shifted, dropping his bag as he faced the Alpha. Pale blue hair peaked out from under a dark hood, and red eyes peered out from the darkness of the hood. If the criminal wanted his bag, he could have it. School work wasn't anything for a criminal.

"Such a young Alpha to be all alone" The other sneered. Bakugou's mind screamed for him to turn tail and run, but his Alpha was ready for a fight.

"Such talk for some ugly Alpha. You looking for a fight?" He scoffed, adjusting his body to appear bigger. He knew how to use his hands, and he wasn't going to back down from a fight. He wasn't a coward. The other Alpha was slouching, but Bakugou could tell that himself was the shorter of the two.

"Depends. You attend that pretentious school with the all famous All Might. I might leave you alone for some simple information" a tilt of the male's head had Bakugou growling.

"Like I'd tell you anything" he sneered, bunching up his hands.

"Have it your way" the other sneered, launching himself at Bakugou with some speed. Bakugou quickly deflected the male's punch, getting a swipe of his leg in, sending the male sprawling on the ground. He was quick to get back to his feet, facing Bakugou again but with a crazed grin. He launched himself at Bakugou again, staying away from the male's feet as he connected a punch with Bakugou's jaw. The younger Alpha growled, his vision tinting red as he connected a punch of his own with the criminal's shoulder. He staggered, twirling around to face the blond again. Bakugou caught a glimpse of his face before the criminal pulled his hood up again, giggling like a school girl. "You fight good, kid. Keep getting stronger. You'll see me again" He took off, hopping over fences before Bakugou had a chance to catch up to his reaction.

"What the hell!" Bakugou screamed after him, darting to the fence where the criminal had hopped over first. He couldn't see the male anywhere, or smell him. He must have been wearing scent blockers. He growled to himself as he grabbed his bag, finishing his trek to his house, rubbing his jaw. He unlocked his door, heading into the dark interior of his house. The fight had lasted all of five minutes from what Bakugou could tell, and he was more confused than anything. The criminal hadn't even tried to fight after Bakugou had landed his single hit. Either he was extremely smart, or extremely stupid. The blond decided he wouldn't tell anyone about it. He'd wait until he saw the male again and beat the information out of him. He wasn't on the police's radar, so he wouldn't have any viable information for the police. Though he'd seen the male's face, so he'd be able to pick him out again if he ever saw him. He dug his phone from his pocket as he worked to undress in the sanctuary of his bedroom. He shot a text to Midoriya to let the other know he was home safe, but left out his fight. He knew Midoriya would worry too much. That was something the Alpha would deal with on his own. For now he was going to pass out, and wake up early so he could clean the house for his parents.
