Without You -BakuDeku Omegaverse

Instead of the three hours that Mandalay had proposed it would take the students, it took the final students nearly 8 hours to arrive. Bakugou and Midoriya were the first two to arrive, followed by Kirishima and Todoroki with Iida right behind them. Shinsou, Kaminari, and Uraraka were the last three to arrive. 

"Welcome to camp! Sorry about the time, I forgot how awful the terrain is out there," Pixie-Bob giggled, clearly not sorry about the time it took them to arrive. The blond then approached Bakugou, Midoriya, Kirishima, and Todoroki, grinning. "And you four were the first, very impressive! Especially you," she purred, grabbing Midoriya into a hug, letting him go when Bakugou let out a low warning growl. 

"Who is the kid?" Midoriya wondered out loud, the Omega looking at the small black-haired child who stood behind all of the adults. 

"That's Kota, he's my nephew," Mandalay smiled. "Say hi, Kota"

Midoriya walked up to the kid, a smile on his face. He put out a hand for the boy to shake. "Hello, Kota. I'm Midoriya Izuku. It's nice to meet you." Kota stared for a moment before punching Midoriya in the crotch and walking away from the Omega. 

"I don't want to be around anyone who wants to go into the police force. Especially some stupid Omega," the kid growled, disappearing into the main building before anyone could really react. Bakugou pulled Midoriya back towards himself, checking to see if the Omega was okay. 

"I'm fine. It's fine. He'll come around," the Omega wheezed, trying to ignore the pain as Aizawa began giving orders. 

The students all met at the mess hall for dinner, stomachs rumbling around the group as they each filled up their plates and sat to eat. 

"Midoriya! I want to say that Kota had no right to punch you in the genitals and I will ensure that he is to do no such thing again," Iida approached the Omega, gesturing to the small child who sat with the Pussycats to eat. 

"Thanks Iida! But I'm fine, really it's okay. He's angry and just needs time. I'm not worried about it," Midoriya assured the class president, earning a nod as Iida continued around the class to fuss at those who were misbehaving. 

"I'll kill the kid if he does it again," Bakugou growled, protectively wrapping his arm around Midoriya. 

"Kacchan, please. Kota is still just a pup. He barely has his scent coming through. He's probably five or six. Don't be angry with him," Midoriya assured the blond Alpha, scenting him lightly to help him calm down. Midoriya didn't miss Kota's disgusted look at the affection. He made a mental note to talk to Mandalay about the kid later. 

After dinner, everyone began splitting into their sub-gendered groups to enjoy the hot spring baths. Midoriya frowned as he waved to Bakugou, pulled away by the other Omegas in his class.  There were 3 sections for the hot springs, one large section for the Betas, and two smaller sections for the Omegas and Alphas. Midoriya found himself relaxing next to Uraraka and Kaminari not long after, sighing as he slid down in the water. The other two Omegas from the other class were there as well, sitting on opposite sides from them. Midoriya only knew Monoma's name because of his Alpha telling everyone on the bus. He didn't know the shy black-haired one's name. 

"This is nice. It's been a long time since we got to enjoy a nice hot bath together," Uraraka smiled, her hair up in a loose ponytail as they sat in the water. Kaminari's hair was also up, but in a headband. Midoriya left his unruly curls loose. 

"It really is. So, Denki, are you and Shinsou dating yet?" Midoriya asked the blond Omega bluntly, not missing how red Kaminari's face got as he stammered. 

"We're just friends!" Kaminari denied, earning laughs from both his friends. 

"Shut up over there. All three of you are without Alphas. Everyone can smell it on you. Unlike me and that guys over there who have been claimed by our Alphas," Monoma sneered, walking closer to the trio with his hands on his hips. Amajiki slid further into the water from where he sat to try to hide from the conversation. He didn't want to be pulled into this. 

"We're 16, Monoma. It's okay that we haven't been marked yet. I'm with Kacchan, Denki is courting Shinsou, and Ura is currently trying to court someone. It's only natural at this age," Midoriya responded, shifting in front of his friends slightly. 

"I can't believe you went back to that asshole after how he treated you all these years. We weren't even in the same class and everyone knows how he looked down on you. I bet he would dump you first chace he got for some better Omega who actually presented on time," Monoma laughed, doing his best to get under Midoriya's skin. The green-haired Omega gritted his teeth, glaring at the blond. 

"Kacchan was always my best friend! We talked over everything. He's not the same person he was at the beginning of the year. You need to leave us alone Monoma. Between me, Kacchan, and Kendou, I imagine you would have a hard time fighting us."

"I would never dream of fighting your precious Kacchan. And me and Itsuka don't fight. She just helps keep my behavior under control. But you, you're just a little Omega. You're delusional if you think the police force will take you after graduation," Monoma smirked, watching Midoriya's face get angrier. 

"Shut up Monoma. I'm serious. Omegas can join the police force too and you know that"

"Oh, I'm so scared. Maybe I should go tell your Alpha that he should hold you back," Monoma laughed, pulling himself out of the water. He wrapped a towel around his waist before beginning to climb the later to the top of the wall that divides the baths. Midoriya watched him, unsure of how to stop him. 

Before Monoma could get to the top though, Kota appeared, pushing Monoma back off the ladder where the Omega crashed into the pool. The image of the Omega falling caused Kota to watch him fall. Midoriya could see the immediate panic in Kota's eyes as the railing gave way at the top and Kota began tumbling down the wall. The Omega jumped out of the water, launching himself off the ground to catch Kota in his arms, holding the now-unconscious male in his arms. Kaminari handed Midoriya a towel which the Omega quickly secured around his waist before heading to the main lodge where the Pussycats were staying. 

Mandalay ushered Midoriya in, seeing her nephew unconscious shocked her. "What happened?"

"Monoma was being a jerk, and tried to climb the wall. When Kota intervened, the railing broke and Kota fell. I caught him before he got hurt. But I saw the fear in his eyes as he fell. I think he passed out because of it."

"Thank you so much for rescuing him. You're Midoriya Izuku, right?" Mandalay asked, bringing the boys to Kota's room where Midoriya set him down and covered him with a blanket after taking the boys big black shoes off. 

"Yes! I am. And of course. I always move to save someone that need helps. I was curious about one thing though. Kota really seems to hate the police force. And the fact that, as an Omega, I'm trying to join. Why is that?" Midoriya asked, looking up at the brown-haired woman. Mandalay sighed as she sat down on the bed beside Kota. 

"His parents were on the police force, both of them. They were the team Water Hose. A pair of Omegas who got together against all odds. It was 2 years ago, they were fighting a villainous Alpha in order to save a group of civilians and lost their lives in the fight. He came to live with me shortly after. He was 3 when they died. And he's hated the idea of Omegas in the police force every since. Plus it doesn't help that me and the other Pussycats are out on the road a lot, and he has to deal with us being in the police force too. Though I stepped back a lot once I took him in." Mandalay explained softly, taking Kota's red hat off the boy's head and setting it aside as she brushed his hair off his forehead. 

"I remember seeing the news about Water Hose. It was a tragic thing. I hate that for him. He's still so young." Midoriya said softly, frowning as he looked at Kota. He couldn't imagine life without his mom. "I'll keep an eye on his this month. I'm sure he could use a friend after all this time."

"I appreciate it. Thank you Midoriya. Now you should try to get some rest. I think Aizawa is planning on waking you guys up early."

"Thank you Mandalay. I'll see you tomorrow" Midoriya smiled, waving at the Beta before he headed back to his cabin so he could get dressed for bed. Tomorrow, police training would begin.
