Chapter 9

Season 3 of Episode 10

Today is the day Sophie's luge will change.

Medication, chemo therapy, pain help, feeling weak and not being able to do anything or everything on her own.

"I love to learn and go to school and learn new things, then meet my friends and living the way Alex talks to me I live him so much and I want him to be my future husband one day but now he's just checking in me and my illness..." Sophie Clarkson thinks before being disturbed....

"Soph you okay." Chlo Grainger says to her stepsister who looks list looking at the mirror.

"Yeah, fine." Sophie says quietly still looking at the mirror then slowly stopping and going to her bedroom.

But all in her bedroom now is stocks of medication Sophie has to take and a schedule when to take them.

As Sophie looks at the medication she instantly turns and looks out of the bedroom window seeing sun in the sky then she looks down and sees students walking to school...

"Sophie sweetheart come sit in the front of the car and I'll drop Chlo and Mika off then get to the hospital.

The words that came out of her father's mouth made Sophie's body tingle in worry that the students of Waterloo Road.

"Sophie." Tom Clarkson says.
Then his daughter just nods her head silently.

The Clarkson/ Grainger's family get to school.

As the three who work and students get out of the car Tom Clarkson looks at his biological daughter who sits in the front.

As the three of them look away from Sophie they all see Donte with Celine Dixon

"You know something, girls?
We all need a holiday at some point. Get away for a bit." Tom says then he once again turns and looks at his daughter.

"Yeah? Where?" Chlo says.

"Have you ever been skiing?" Tom asks them.

The two Grainger girls shock their heads.

"You'll love it." Tom says then as the Grainger sisters leave him Tom goes back to his car.

"Ok, I need to speak to miss Mason so I need you to come in so I can tell her today is the day you're starting Chemo ok?" Tom says to his daughter.

"Ok." Sophie says then gets herself out of the car.

"Tom, hi , Sophie good to see you."

"Hi Rachel, today is Sophie first session of chemo so...

"Not at all Sophie take the day off I'll get the girls to take your school work to go home with them so you can complete it through the time your resting after a few days after the treatment." Rachel says.

"Thank you Rachel." Tom Clarkson tells her.

After chatting they went their separate ways Tom Clarkson takes his daughter to the car to drive to the hospital.

"Mr Clarkson hi I am your daughter Sophie's doctor who will be taking care of your daughter and taking her to the chemo ward. You are welcome to come in but there's not much space." Doctor Wilson says to Tom.

"Ok we'll how long does her chemo last?" Tom asks Sophie's doctor.

"So the first chemo session will last an hour and a half then in three days time it will go down to half an hour onwards but if it's not working we will try it harder like today." Doctor Wilson says.
