(9) Bucky's First Piano Recital

Two Yrs Later,

Edith had put Bucky into legit piano lessons and singing lessons when he was four years old, and now a year later he was about to perform in his first piano recital. She got him a little tux that was gold and black complete with a bow tie. 

"Mom he looks like a mini Elvis." James said as Bucky came out of the bathroom. 

"You hush son." Edith said as she fixed his bow tie and hair. 

They all left to go to the place for the recital. When it was his turn he walked out on stage holding his music. 

"He looks so small James." Winnie whispered 

"I know." He said as Bucky placed his music on the piano, fixed the mic to him and open the piano. 

He began to play the intro to "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" and then he began to sing the song. Edith was crying by the end, along with Winnie. Everyone was on their feet giving him a standing ovation as he bowed. 

When it was over, Edith picked him up. "I'm so proud of you! Oh my boy you did it!" She said 

Everyone hugged him, and gave him all kinds of attention. James gave him a candy bouquet with all his favorites. The only person who wasn't happy for him was his older brother Jonah who sulked and pouted. 

"I didn't get candy when I made my first touchdown last weekend. I want candy!" Jonah stomped. 

"Bubba I share." Bucky said 

"No I want my own candy!' Jonah said as he crossed his arms. 

"Jonah James that is not how we act, and you have been making Touchdowns since you were four years old. I'm not buying you candy Everytime you do. James said he share with you." James said 

"No.." Jonah said as stuck his nose up in the air. 

When they got home from dinner, Jonah was sent to his room. Before Bucky went to bed he snuck into Jonah's room where he was sleeping and laid some candy on his nightstand. 

"I love you bubba." He said in a whisper then left to go to bed himself. 

Winnie and James tucked him in.
