Two months later,
Jonah was sitting in his room doing homework when Aubrie came over.
'Hey darlin." He said as she sat on his lap.
"We have to talk." She said in a low tone.
"Ok.." he said
She opened up her purse, and showed him her pregnancy stick and a ultrasound.
"Brie you said you were on birth control that I didn't need condoms." He said
"I was. But I missed my appointment cause you and I went to Aspen for Valentine's Day." She said
"Baby you could of said something. I graduate in a few months and you don't graduate till next year. I had planned on going to USC for football " he said
She looked down, "Now you sound like my parents." She said
He pulled her closer and kissed her head, "You already told your parents." He said
"Yeah .I needed money for my co pay." She said
That night she joined the family for dinner, "Dad there is something I need to tell you" Jonah said
"What now" James said as he wiped his mouth.
"Brie is pregnant." He said
Forks dropped as Winnie and James dropped them on their plates. Bucky looked up from his plate wide eyed.
"Excuse me?" James said
"Dad I'm sorry. She missed her appointment cause we went to Aspen." Jonah said
"Where was backup?" Winnie said
"I um..I didn't..bring any." He said
"Damn it Jonah James! Where is your head sometimes! I stressed to you And your brother about condoms! And he seems to be the only one of the two of you that actually listens to me!" James yelled as he stood up.
Jonah rolled his eyes, "Well I'm sorry! Im not perfect like him! I'm sorry that I make mistakes and I'm not as talented as him where he gets to go some fancy ass performing arts school cause he's so talented!" He yelled
"I'm not asking you to be like him! I'm asking you to think with your head instead of your dick! I'm asking you to grow up!" James said
A few hours later, Bucky came into Jonah'z room.
"What do you want?" Jonah said as he sat on his bed.
"I'm not perfect.." he said
"Don't come in here and try to make me feel better by lying." He said as he wiped tears.
"Jonah..I didn't want to this life. Gigi pushed..it was only suppose to be a hobby. But Gigi pushed, you and I both know we don't tell her no. I didn't want to go to the school I wanted to keep being in public school. And I envy you Jonah you get to play sports and go to public school. You don't have the pressure I have..and granted I'm thankful that I do get to go there cause of BA but please know that as much as we fight I do love you. All I ever have wanted is for us to be like Steve and his big bro Zach but you won't let that happen even when I tried when we were little " he said
Jonah got up, and hugged him. "Im sorry I didn't know." Jonah said
Bucky hugged him, "You never bothered to ask." He said
A few hours later, Winnie found them playing Xbox together.
