Four days later,
Bucky told Billie Ann to dress up like in the 50s, he fixed his hair in his room.
"Mom didn't mention a stupid thing at your school." Jonah said as he walked by.
"I have a date Jonah.." he said as he looked down.
"A date? Who would date a musical theater nerd with purple lights on their car. I'm so glad you don't go to my school." Jonah said
"Fuck off Jonah and leave me alone. It's not like you actually care about me." Bucky said as he grabbed his blazer and keys to leave.
James met them at the bottom of the stairs "Jonah this stops. You leave him alone." James said as he handed Bucky money and Broadway tickets.
"Thanks dad." Bucky said as he left.
Bucky went to Billie Ann's to pick her up, Robbie answered the door.
"Lord have mercy. Look Whit Elvis Presley." He said
"Stop now you sound like dad." He said with a smile.
"Aww can you do the hips?" Whitney said
"Haha..ha." he said as Billie Ann came down the stairs in a red dress.
"B-B.." he said as his breath hitched.
He walked over to her as he helped her off the last step, "You look amazing doll." He said
"Are these for me?" She said
"Yes sorry." He said as he handed her a 50s teddy bear and red and teal roses.
Whitney came into the foyer to get a picture, and take the roses. "I'll put them in a case for you baby. You all have fun." Whitney said as she sent the photos to Winnie.
Bucky opened the door for her, and let her go first. He did the same when they got to the xar. They had dinner at a 50s diner, where they had cheeseburgers, and shared a strawberry milkshake. She got a picture of them sharing the milkshake.
After dinner they went to see "All Shook Up" the Elvis Presley broadway show. When he took her home he walked her to the door and kissed her.
"Will you be my girl?" He said
"Of course I will." She said as she kissed him.
They say goodnight, and she went inside and she told her mom all about her date as Robbie listens through the door. It made them both happy to hear he has alot of James in him.
