Today is my Haldi, and in the evening, I'll be getting married. We had a Sangeet ceremony earlier, but it was quite normal, nothing too exciting.

I was sitting comfortably, glancing around the room, when I noticed Atharva sitting across from me. As the ceremony began, everyone started applying turmeric, first to Atharva and then to me.
When my mother came to apply turmeric, her eyes welled up with tears. She softly said, "My doll looks so cute today. After tomorrow, she'll go to her new home."
Hearing this, tears filled my own eyes, and I gave her a small, sad smile.
