The morning rays gently illuminated a couple sleeping entwined in each other's arms—Atharva and Ruhi. As Atharva awoke, he felt the warmth of his wife clinging to him, her body nestled close.A smile spread across his face as he recalled the events of the previous night. Carefully, he extricated himself from her embrace, covering her with a sheet before heading to the kitchen.
He placed a tender kiss on her forehead, then made his way downstairs.
Entering the kitchen, Atharva's presence caused quite a stir among the maids, and even his aunt’s eyes widened in surprise.
"Beta, you’re here?" she exclaimed. Atharva simply responded with a nonchalant "Hmm," and began preparing breakfast.
The maids watched in curiosity as he cooked, their interest piqued by his culinary skills.
When Abhinav walked by, he clutched his heart dramatically, exclaiming, "Aree hukam, app rasoi ghar ma!" (Oh my lord, you’re in the kitchen!).
Atharva shot him a glare before carrying two plates of food to his room.
Meanwhile, Ruhi woke up alone in the bed, noticing the sheets had been changed and that she was now wearing Atharva’s shirt. As the memories of the night before flooded her mind, her cheeks turned a deep shade of red. Just then, Atharva entered the room carrying two plates of food.
“Biwi ji, eat. You must be tired after last night’s procedure,” Atharva said, his tone a mix of teasing and tenderness.
Ruhi blushed deeply as she took the plate from him. Atharva’s laughter, which she found unexpectedly sexy, made her heart flutter. They sat together to eat, and Ruhi suddenly remembered something important.
“Suniya,” she said, catching Atharva’s attention. ( listen,)
“Boliya,” he responded, signaling her to continue. ( speak,)
“Today, I need to go back to Delhi for another ritual. So....” she explained, looking at him closely.
Atharva nodded, “Yes, go you don't need to ask me and come back soon. Stay as long as you need.”
Ruhi smiled and finished her meal. Afterward, she went to the washroom, and Atharva headed downstairs to clear the plates.
In the guest room, Atharva prepared himself and then spoke on the phone, his back turned to Ruhi.
“Aditya, you were right. She’s very innocent and naive,” he said. Ruhi, upon hearing this, was taken aback.
She continued to listen as Atharva said, “So what if I doesn’t love her? It’s her duty to please her husband.”
