The next day, when Ruhi woke up, she looked around and noticed that Atharva was not there. He had already left for the office. She felt extremely worried because even last night, he had worked through the entire night. After freshening up, she came downstairs and saw that everyone seemed extremely distressed. Concerned, Ruhi asked,
"What happened? Why is everyone so worried? Is everything alright?"
Everyone's faces were filled with worry, and Abhinav responded,
"Everything has gone wrong. Someone leaked information, and now the 100-crore project is being labeled a scam. That's why Bhaiya (brother) is very anxious. Take a look."
Ruhi became anxious and saw how the media was tarnishing their reputation. Her eyes widened as she exclaimed,
"Don't these people have anything better to do? How can they behave like this?"
Myra added, "Bhabhi, you don't know these people. They're always looking for an opportunity to create a fuss over the smallest matters."
Grandfather, visibly anxious, sat down in his chair, deep in thought, and said, "My child must be very troubled and distressed."
Diksha placed a comforting hand on her father-in-law's shoulder and said,
"Don’t worry, Bapuji. Everything will be fine. Atharva has faced many challenges before, and he will overcome this too. He's very strong."
Just then, the door opened, and two women entered. Everyone was taken aback, but they managed to hide their surprise. Ruhi, however, was puzzled, wondering who these newcomers were. It was only when Dadaji said,
"Manvi, please have a seat,"
that Ruhi realized it was Atharva's aunt. But another girl, accompanying Manvi, caught everyone off guard.
The second girl was none other than Alia. She had been friends with Ruhi and was also Atharva's step-cousin, Manvi’s stepdaughter from her husband’s previous marriage.
Alia looked at Ruhi with a smirk. Ruhi remained silent, observing everything. Just then, Ruhi's mother-in-law smiled at both of them, saying,
"Please, come in and have a seat. I’ll bring you some water."
But Manvi strode in with an air of arrogance, her head held high.
"We've come all this way, and you're only going to offer water? Bring something more substantial!" she demanded.
Though no one liked her attitude, they kept their opinions to themselves. Ruhi’s and Alia’s eyes met, with Ruhi’s gaze apologetic, but Alia was unfazed.
