"Ryujin! Ryujin! Over here!" Yeji stood up from the bleachers in the big school gym to get Ryujin's attention as she entered with the big crowd of other arriving students.

The raven haired one could hear her name being called, but she couldn't see where it was coming from. She knows that the bleachers are separated into four sections and for pep rallies, students sit according to school year. So, she found the sections for seniors and quickly found the tall brunette with really long hair.

She noticed since yesterday that Yeji is one of the few girls that wears the masculine uniforms, it made her wonder where she can get one, she's not really a girly-girl at heart.

Her face lit up and she jogged over to where Yeji and her best friend were sitting. Elijah quickly grew nervous, he's never spoken to her before or seen her up close, and she's the governor's daughter.

"What do I even talk about? Damn, she's so beautiful." Elijah panicked, wondering how Yeji was just casually friends with her already.

"I told her you're a nice guy, just be yourself!" Yeji hyped him up.

Ryujin approached them and they both stood up to let her through easily, Yeji saved her a seat right next to Elijah of course. It made Ryujin a bit uncomfortable, she was not familiar with Elijah and wanted to sit next to Yeji or at least in between them. Maybe the seat next to Yeji was already taken when Yeji and Elijah got here.

"Hey, I'm Elijah." Elijah awkwardly introduced himself, going in for a professional handshake.

Yeji looked on and cringed to herself. A damn handshake? What da hell.

"Ryujin, nice to meet you too!" Ryujin smiled, taking his hand and shaking it. They released their hands and looked in their laps, awkward silence filling their bubble. The raven-haired girl played with her fingers, wondering if she should talk about something.

Yeji slapped the back of Elijah's head, making him look at her and whine.

"The hell was that for?"

"E, man, talk to her!" Yeji scolded him, gesturing towards the pretty girl.

"What do I talk about??"

"Ask her where she's from, she'll talk about her time in England."

"Ok, ok." Elijah turned to phase the other girl, Ryujin noticed and smiled politely at him. "So, where are you people from, exactly?"

Yeji stared at him with doubled eyes, disappointed with his word choice. That was atrocious. Why not just ask her, where she transferred from? Just why did he say it like that...

"I beg your pardon..." Ryujin questioned, wondering if he was racially stereotyping her or genuinely asking where she moved from.

Elijah caught in her tone and facial expression, he turned extremely red and began stuttering. "I'm so sorry! No, I mean, like... where are you from- like, where did you move from? Another state or...?" He corrected himself, relieved when he saw Ryujin lighten up and nod.

"Oh, I moved from England, but I was born in South Korea."

"Korea! I love Koreans! Haha..."

Again, Yeji thought, Why did he say that...

"Oh, okay, cool, I guess..." Ryujin half smiled and looked away, wondering why this dude was so weird and if he fetishizes Asians.

"Dude..." Yeji put her head in her hands. "You are fucking this up so bad right now- just talk to her!" She quietly guided him.

"So, I notice you don't have an accent." Elijah turned right back around, pulling some confidence out of his ass.

"I have one a little bit, it's just a mixture and I learned American English in Korea."
