(A/n) MOTHER'S ABS^^^

The friend group wondered when they'd become friends again. It was only Yeji and Yuna together at school, Elijah was still hanging out with his football team all the time and Ryujin was still at home. It had only been four days since the attack, everyone figured she'd take at least a week before coming back to school.

Yeji wondered how long Elijah would take to give his blessing to her and Ryujin. The patience was difficult to endure as more days went by, she promised him she'd wait though.

As long as it's not passed Valentine's Day, she'll be cool.

Ryujin had asked them all to come by after school though, stating that she had news to tell them, and she wanted them all to be there. Including Elijah.

With Yeji's last period free, she made it there early to spend time with Ryujin. It was evident that something was bothering her though, it made Yeji think that this news wouldn't be good. The house was also surrounded with military officials, it was all weird and even tense.

They ate tangerines together in the kitchen and spoke freely until Yuna and Elijah got there. Andrew would let Elijah here because he's with Yeji and Yuna and for this occasion, he'd allow it. Ryujin really wanted him here, so he allowed it.

The pain in that boy's heart when he realized that even all this time of not seeing Ryujin, he still freezes at her beauty. He's letting it go, but still, she's the girl he wanted to kiss, hold and cherish. The way Yeji held her last night, he didn't know about it, but he would have wanted that to be him.

But he's matured and realized that there is absolutely nothing he can do about Ryujin's sexuality. He'll support her and he knows he doesn't want to lose her this way. They have many great memories as friends, and he wants to make more. He wishes to appreciate their relationship as friends, and only as friends.

And the fact that she fell for Yeji instead... There's nothing he can do about that either. Yeji did try everything, she did throw Ryujin at him, but it was never meant to be. Elijah liked a girl, Yeji helped him try to get her. And now Yeji likes a girl, where's his effort?

He planned to give them his blessing tomorrow, but depending on whatever news Ryujin has, it could change everything.

And as for apologizing? He will do it after Ryujin's news today.

The raven haired one sat them all down in the big living room and let out a sad breath.

"I'm going back to England."

Objections erupted from around her, she knew they wouldn't like it. She knew they'd be confused. She didn't like it either, but she understood.

"After the attack and with the elections only getting closer... my mom wants me away from all of the politics. My dad didn't like it, but he knows that it's for the best. We are being flown back to London this evening and I'll be leaving with my mom to the airport in a few minutes, it was just made final this morning."

It explained the military outside that was ready to escort the mother and daughter to the nearest military base where the jet was held.

"Wh-what about school and-" Yeji questioned. She wanted to say, "-and what about us?"

"I'll be home-schooled and have complete US military protection around the clock once I get there until next January."

The room was wordless, but loud with silence.
