Yeji got out of her car, coming back to the gym, ready to eat the dinner she picked up from Whole Foods. She got a lot to make up for the fact that she didn't have lunch earlier.

She parked her car in the round-a-bout driveway and walked towards the front door to go into her house. But a presence on the stairs leading up to the doors stopped her.

Ryujin sat on the step closest to the door, leaning her head against the pillar right next to her, her eyes closed.

Yeji wondered how long she was there and she wondered why she was here when she's supposed to be at the ball with Eli. Her phone died at the gym and she forgot her charger, so she's been out of the loop a bit.

"Ryujin?" She called out, rushing up the steps to check on her.

Ryujin woke up to the sound of someone calling her. She felt her heart stop, seeing Yeji right in front of her, shaking her awake.

"What are you doing here? I thought you were supposed to be at the ball..." Yeji questioned, genuinely confused on how Ryujin even got here. She didn't see her car anywhere nearby and she knew that the front gate knew her and let her in.

Ryujin stared longingly at her, her eyes sad and tired.

"I'm sorry, I didn't know where else to go." She whispered.

Yeji's heart dropped, she helped Ryujin up and got her inside of the house. Ryujin's feet hurt from the heels, so she took them off immediately.

"You're burning hot, it's so hot outside, why were you just sitting out there! Fuck, Ryujin..." She studied Ryujin further, just so hurt to see her makeup smeared as if she was crying earlier.

They stood in the foyer together under the glass chandelier.

"What happened, Ryujin..." Yeji begged to know.

Ryujin looked up at her, she just shook her head. "I just had a bad day, but I don't want to talk about it. I just needed a hug."

Yeji nearly panicked when Ryujin hugged her because of the way she did it. She purposefully leaned in, as if she was going to kiss her and then wrapped her arms around Yeji's neck to hug her. She tucked her head into her neck, on her tippy toes but not being bothered by it.

Yeji wanted to know why Ryujin came all the way here for a hug, why couldn't she get it from Eli? What the hell happened?

She hugged Ryujin back. Of course she did, she couldn't just stand there. With Ryujin's arms around her neck, she had to hug Ryujin under her arms and around her waist. Though she didn't mean to, she was shocked at how good Ryujin felt in this dress. The material is so tight to her figure and skin...

"My dad just ruined everything, that's all. I don't wanna say more than that." Ryujin whispered, closing her eyes.

To be this close to the girl you like, knowing you're only friends and will probably be nothing more than that. The truth is not that beautiful after all.

"Let's clean the makeup off and you can eat with me? We don't have to talk about it. I'm just here for you." Yeji said gently, her heart throbbing with how much Ryujin melted into her arms. They were so close right now; she could feel Ryujin's breathing and her heart pumping nervously in her chest.

"Ok..." Ryujin nodded, releasing the hug and letting Yeji take her upstairs to her bedroom.

They ended up in the bathroom, where Yeji had her makeup removing stuff. She didn't wear much makeup, but she has her moments.

Ryujin sat up on the counter, playing with her hands in her lap. She was scared to look at the posts that her father made.

Yeji glanced over and over at the girl on the counter, that dress on her body... it made her want to see more of it. Not the dress, the body.
