Silas and I left in the morning, I texted my father saying that Silas's parents needed help with something

Even though it was a lie, I feel bad, I still feel like I'm being selfish, not one of us have talked about last night, Silas drives back to his parents house since the university doesn't open till tomorrow

"Do your parents know?" I ask Silas, he nods "I told them last night after you fell asleep" he says I stare at him

"That was like three in the morning" I say, it took me forever to calm down, and go back to sleep last night.

"My father was up" he tells me and I nod slowly Silas's hand rests on my thigh softly brushing it

I hum softly i look down at my phone seeing Ann texted me

Ann🫶🏼: can you do me a favor? I promise I'll give you something in return

I smile softly and type

Me: depends, will a bow be added to that 'something'

Ann typed the middle finger

Me: add a bow to it and I'll except it🎀

Ann: I hate you🔥 but fine, I'll add a bow.

I grin at her text and send two pink bow emojis, do I love bows? Yes, yes I do.

If there was a green bow emoji I feel like I'd use that everyday.

Ann: should I go with the plan on asking cloud out?

Is cloud jades code name? Yes, because that was the first thing that came to our minds when choosing one, I was also drawing a cloud and we stared at it for a good twenty minutes.

Me: obviously, is she with you right now?

I wait for Ann to answer me, she takes forever most times, so I stare at the text and so far I'm still on delivered.

I sigh

"You okay?" Silas asks, I nod "so why the aggressive sigh?" He asks again

I glare at him "stop making fun of the things I do, grump." I point my finger at him, his lips tilt up into a small smile

Ann: we made plans to hang out

My jaw drops and I get excited, even though I'm only hearing about this now, I'm still excited for Ann.

"Can I ask why you squealed?" Silas says parking the car, i didn't even realize we were at his parents house

I shake my head "top secret, grump, maybe if you were my best friend like Ann, you could know." I grin at him

Silas leans in close until his lips hover over mine "but I am your boyfriend, and I'm sure that's a higher rank." He says before kissing the corner of my mouth.

My breath hitches, and I hate when he does that, like actually, when he leans in for a kiss but decides "nope, not gonna do that."

The passenger door opens and I walk out with Silas and i help him take my suitcase out of the trunk he hands me the keys to his house

"Let Emilia know your home, she's most likely in the living room." He says

I nod and unlock the front door "Emilia?" I call out, no answer maybe she's upstairs, Silas comes up "is she in the kitchen?" I shake my head and he nods

When I walk into his room I suddenly remember that noise I heard, I debate on bringing it up or not, it could've been the wind, or Bambi.

"I'm kinda hungry.." I mumbled and Silas looks at me and nods "wanna make something?" He asks and I shrug
