How the fuck did this happen. How did and why did Sophia get kidnapped?

My parents are coming to pick me up, my father said after that photo I wouldn't be in the best condition to drive.

-a few hours later-

We're finally back home and I have to show that photo of Sophia to everyone.

My leg bounces and I've never really had anxiety, but now I am.

I don't focus on what my father says to anyone, I stare down at the tattoos I got of each drawing Sophia did on my arms.

Everytime she drew on my arms I made sure to get an appointment to get them tattooed so I could have her with me every day, every minute, all the time.

"Silas." My head shoots up staring at my father "we'll get her back, she'll be safe, but I need you to show the photo." He says

I nod slowly and unlock my phone hesitantly going to the message and clicking on the photo handing it to my father

Door opens and Elijah walks in "your late." Selena says "shut the fuck up, I had to help my wife." He gritted

"Don't tell me what the fuck to do, Harper." She says pointing at him "if you don't shut up now, I'll gladly do it for you, in many ways." He says

"How the fuck would you do that." She says, i stare between them and Elijah smirks "want your secrets spilled? Want me to go downstairs and grab that needle and thread? Or do you wanna shut yourself up?" He says and Selena stops talking.

"Fucking finally." My father mumbled taking my phone and showing it to Elijah

"What the fuck am I supposed to do? Give me fucking context, Diaz, I can't just tell you something with one photo." He grits.

What's up his ass? Not sure. "Why does he get to talk his shit, but if I say something I get threatened?" Selena complains

"Because your stupid, and do the stupidest shit known to humanity." Elijah says

Selena goes to say something but my father shoots his gun at the wall near her "enough. Both of you. Harper you'll find Sophia, or at least something of where she is." He says

"With one photo?" He says, my father shrugs "your the stalker." He says handing me the phone

"I only stalk your daughter, no one else." My father glares at him "what if we can't find her?" I ask staring between them "we will, Silas, go downstairs and calm down, we'll start looking." My father says and I nod slowly leaving

My eyes widened when I see Emilia sitting at the staircase with something in her hands I sit next to her "what's up?" I ask her she looks at me

Emilia hugs me and I wrap my arms around her back "are you okay?" She asks and I nod slowly "I'm gonna be okay, I just need her to be okay.." I say when Emilia pulls away and she nods slowly

"I made brownies, we'll mom and I did, I know you'd eat them when you had long days at school, or bad days..so..yeah, you don't need to eat them now, or at all, just wanted to do something nice for you." She smiles softly at me and I nodded

"I think it's better to get my mind off of what's happening right now, Em." I say walking downstairs I notice Cheeto is on the counter sitting in the empty fruit bowl.

My mother stands there staring at Cheeto, I sit at the counter getting a soft smile from her "How do you feel?" She asks me and I shrug "like a shitty boyfriend for not being there." I sigh

"You aren't, you never knew this would happen, Silas. You can't get mad at yourself over something you can't control." My mother says and I nod slowly

Emilia puts the brownies down at the counter "where's Ev?" I asked before my mother can answer Evelyn walks in

"Oh- whys Cheeto in the bowl?" She asks and my mother shrugs "because she's an orange cat? Don't orange cats do stupid shit?" I say to her

Evelyn glares at me "don't be mean to her" Evelyn says picking Cheeto up "Elijah already makes fun of her enough" she says

I nod my head slowly and grab a brownie "How long do think it is until we find her?" I ask my mother and she shrugs "depends on how long Elijah needs, and if Selena keeps asking about why he's the one looking." She says

I nod and stare down at Bambi who's staring at me probably wondering where Sophia is.

Bambi walks up to me and I sigh when she rests her front legs on my thigh, I pat her head, Sophia gave me my sweatshirt back, I haven't washed it yet because it smells like her perfume that she loves

Bambi probably smells Sophia from my sweatshirt and is wondering where she is.

I stare at my father when he comes down "we need to show you something he says." I get up and follow him upstairs to his home office

"So?" I ask when we get to his office "she's in Italy." Elijah says crossing his arms he points to the paper on the desk and I stare at it

"She was taken a few days ago when she was leaving the library at that university you both go to, the face was unclear so we don't know who, after they left the cameras cut out." He says and I nod slowly

"A-are we gonna go get her?" I ask and my father nods "you still need to go to school, Silas." He says

I shake my head "I can do my classes online, I'll email them and they'll tell me it's okay." My father sighs before nodding

"We'll take you back to get your stuff tomorrow." He says and I nod "and I couldn't have found her? Why does Harper need to do it?" Selena asks

I hear a groan from Elijah "for once in your life shut the fuck up, plus I'm better at hacking then you, and finding people" he states

"And like I said, keep running your mouth and you won't be speaking for the rest of your life." Elijah says walking out and slamming the door behind him

"Fucking annoying" she mumbled "again, Selena, enough. We don't have time for you and Harper to argue every five fucking seconds." My father grits

"When did she get to Italy?" I ask, my father looks at the paper "yesterday morning." He says and I nod

"Go get some rest, we'll take you to talk with the headmistress and everything." My father says and I nod walking downstairs

I see Evelyn sitting near Elijah who's holding her and glaring at the cat, I sit back at the counter "any good news?" My mother asks

I nod slowly "thank you for helping." I say to Elijah and he nods "Sophia's in Italy, dad said he'll take me tomorrow to talk with the headmistress about doing online school for a bit and grab things I need." I say and she nods

After a while I decided to go upstairs to my room, tomorrow we go back to the university and then leave for Italy.

I'm fucking terrified for her.
