Pleasing Silas

My father helps me put the last suitcase in my trunk before turning towards me.

"Anything happens call me." He says and I nod before giving my sister a hug.

Her and I were always close growing up "if you need me you know you can call me right?" She nodded.

She was quiet now. It bothered me because I've always enjoyed talking with my little sister.

Hearing what she has to say, we turn and see Evelyn with Elijah and she gives me a smile "sorry Cheeto was trying to eat my crystals again" she sighs.

"Its fine, at least you guys came" I said getting a smile from her.

We all talked for a bit before I said I should leave, my mother gives me a sad smile before hugging me.

"Please be safe, and try not to- uh do bad? Sorry I'm not good at this" she says and I laughed.

Once Emilia and I were old enough my mother and father told us about everything they went through, and a few weeks ago Evelyn said what she went through.

It hurt knowing what she went through, especially since she hides it and acts like it didn't happen.

She told me that Elijah helped her when she went through it and how he still helps her on her bad days.

"You have everything?" My father asks and I nod "if I did forget something I can always come up on the weekends and get it" I say getting a nod

Emilia looks up at me and I smile "I can call you whenever?" She asks and I nod my head.

"I'll try and pick up as much as I can, if I can't just text me Em." I say and she nods before hugging me.

I got in my car before driving to the university I was attending, it took about two hours to get there.

Grabbing my stuff and walking to figure out my dorm room, when I got in I noticed another person who just nodded at me.

"I'm Henry, you?" He asks i turn towards him "Silas." He nods before continuing putting his stuff away as I do the same.

It took about an hour to finish setting everything up and apparently you were able to get dinner now so that's what I'm doing.

My eyes flicker to a girl next to me that's staring at the food her head turns towards me and I instantly look away. Way to go. Leave me alone I didn't mean to get caught. mhmm sure..

I grab some food before sitting down and my roommate Henry sits by me along with a few other people.

"So what are you going for?" One asks I sighed "a doctorate" I said earning a hum.

"You know who he'll be with?" Henry snickered I tilt my head in confusion as they try and hold back their laughter "Sophia the slut?" Sean said.

"Who?" I ask they turn towards me "right, you don't know her, there's this girl here- you were standing next to her in line and well.." he trails off.

"She sorta just sleeps with guys a lot, more so let's anyone get a good fuck in." Henry finishes.

"So you call her a slut?" I ask they chuckled and shrugged "just saying if you were to ever get in bed with her leave after your done, otherwise she'll get attached and think you care about her" Kyle says.

My eyes flicker to the girl I stood in line with. Sophia. "Hey Sophia when are you starting to let us in your dorm?" Kyle smirked at her.

She froze and rolled her eyes "maybe once you stop being a piece of shit." She grumbled, his eyes glared at her and before he could get up she walked away.
