Gerard stirred, blinking away the remnants of sleep as he found himself waking up beside Frank, who was still peacefully asleep facing him. The morning light filtered through the curtains as Gerard quietly shifted to sit up, careful not to disturb Frank.

Gerard approached the window cautiously, his heart pounding in his chest as he assessed the height. Peering out, he saw the ground far below, a dizzying drop that made his head spin. It was too high to jump without risking serious injury.

Gerard turned away from the window and moved towards the door, his hands trembling as he reached for the handle. He tried to turn it, but the door was locked tight, no amount of force budging it.

Frustration and panic bubbled up inside him as he rattled the handle, hoping against hope that it would miraculously open. But it remained stubbornly shut and Gerard leaned his forehead against the door, his breath coming in shallow gasps.

Gerard froze mid-step as he heard Frank's husky voice calling out to him from the bed and turning slowly, he met Frank's gaze. "What are you doing, baby girl?"

"Just... uh, wanting some fresh air," Gerard replied and Frank's eyes narrowed. "You know you can't escape, Gerard. Trying to run will only make things worse for you."

"I... I understand," Gerard murmured, his voice barely above a whisper, as he turned away and reluctantly made his way back to the bed.

Frank stirred as Gerard moved, his arm instinctively reaching out to pull Gerard closer. "Morning, beautiful," Frank murmured, his voice husky with sleep and he pressed a gentle kiss to Gerard's forehead, his fingers tracing idle patterns on Gerard's bare skin.

Gerard's heart fluttered at the tender gesture, his body relaxing into Frank's arms and for a moment, everything felt almost normal, as if they were just two lovers sharing a lazy morning in bed.

Frank nuzzled into Gerard's hair, his breath warm against Gerard's neck as he held him close. "I could get used to waking up like this," he said softly, his lips brushing against Gerard's skin and Gerard forced a small smile, burying his face in the crook of Frank's neck. "Yeah, me too," he murmured, willing himself to believe the lie, if only for a little while longer.

Frank turned to face Gerard, his eyes scanning him for a moment before he spoke. "Do you want to have sex with me?" he asked and Gerard hesitated, feeling a wave of discomfort wash over him. "Um, not right now, daddy," he replied, avoiding eye contact.

Frank's brow furrowed slightly and he paused for a moment, studying Gerard's expression, before sighing softly and getting off the bed. "Alright then," Frank said quietly and moved to the dresser.

Frank began to get dressed and Gerard watched him silently, a knot forming in his stomach as he felt guilty for rejecting Frank's advances. But he couldn't bring himself to comply, not when his mind was still reeling from the events of the previous night.
