They settled into Frank's private jet for the journey home and Frank's usual tough exterior melting away to reveal a softer, more nurturing side.

"Are you comfortable, baby girl?" Frank asked as he adjusted Gerard's seatbelt and fluffed up the pillows behind him. Gerard nodded, a small smile playing at the corners of his lips. "Yes, thank you, daddy," he replied.

Throughout the flight, Frank spared no expense in ensuring Gerard's comfort and well-being. He brought him snacks and drinks, fussing over him like a doting parent.

"Would you like anything else, baby?" Frank asked, his eyes scanning the menu and Gerard shook his head. "No, thank you, daddy," he said.

Frank took every opportunity to pamper and spoil Gerard, treating him like royalty as a way of making amends for the ordeal he had endured with Bert.

"Gerard, I'm so sorry for what happened," Frank said. "I should have been there to protect you. I promise, I'll never let anything like that happen to you again." Gerard reached out and took Frank's hand. "I know, daddy," he said. "And I forgive you."

Wherever Gerard went, Frank was never far behind. Whether they were at home or out in public, Frank kept a watchful eye on Gerard.

"Stay close to me, baby," Frank would say as he guided Gerard through crowded streets or busy events and Gerard would nod in agreement.

Gerard and Frank browsed through the stationary store and Frank's watchful gaze never wavered from Gerard's side. With five bodyguards trailing behind them, Frank's protective instincts were on high alert, ensuring Gerard's safety at all times.

"Which one do you like, honey?" Frank asked as he gestured towards a display of notebooks and pens and Gerard smiled. "I like this one," he said, reaching for a sleek black notebook with gold accents and Frank nodded in approval, his grip tightening slightly on Gerard's shirt as they made their way to the checkout counter.

As they left the store, Frank's eyes scanned the surroundings while Gerard browsed through the selection of keychains and Frank remained close by his side, his presence almost suffocating as he hovered protectively over Gerard.

"Daddy, can you give me a little space?" Gerard teased, smiling and Frank chuckled softly, his grip on Gerard's shirt loosening slightly as he reluctantly took a step back.

"Sorry, baby," he said. "I just want to make sure you're safe." Gerard grinned. "I know, daddy," he replied, reaching out to squeeze Frank's hand reassuringly. "But I think I can handle picking out a keychain on my own."

Frank nodded, a fond smile lighting up his features as he watched Gerard carefully select a few keychains to purchase. Despite his initial reluctance to give Gerard space.

As Gerard engaged in conversation with the cashier about the keychains he had been eyeing, Frank's protective instincts kicked in once again. Sensing Gerard's excitement, Frank lightly grasped the back of Gerard's shirt. Gerard glanced back at Frank, noticing the subtle gesture, and gave him a reassuring smile before turning his attention back to the cashier.
