Frank carefully folded Gerard's clothes and placed them into a suitcase. He glanced up to see Gerard pacing back and forth, his hands clenched into fists as he fought to contain his emotions.

"Daddy, please," Gerard pleaded. "I can't do this. I can't be away from you." Frank paused, his heart breaking at the sight of Gerard's distress.

He set the suitcase aside and crossed the room to where Gerard stood, wrapping his arms around him. "I know, baby," Frank murmured. "But it's for your safety. We can't risk anything happening to you."

Gerard buried his face in Frank's chest, his shoulders shaking with sobs as he clung to him desperately. "I don't care about safety," he cried. "I just want to be with you."

Frank closed his eyes and pressed a kiss to the top of Gerard's head, his own tears threatening to spill over. "I know it's hard, sweetheart," he whispered. "But we have to do this. It's only temporary, I promise."

But Gerard shook his head, his grip on Frank tightening as if afraid to let him go. "I can't do it, daddy," he choked out. "I can't be without you."

Frank pulled back slightly, cupping Gerard's face in his hands as he looked into his tear-filled eyes. "I love you, Gerard," he said softly. "And I promise, we'll be together again soon. But for now, we have to do what's best for both of us."

With a cry of frustration, Gerard broke free from Frank and dashed towards the suitcase where Frank had meticulously packed his clothes. Without hesitation, he began to snatch the garments from the case, hurling them onto the floor.

"Gerard, stop!" Frank pleaded, rushing forward but his pleas fell on deaf ears as Gerard continued to vent his frustration. Tears streamed down Gerard's cheeks as he flung each article of clothing aside, his breath coming in ragged gasps.

Gerard continued to lash out and Frank could only stand by. Ignoring the weight of the suitcase, Gerard tried to lift it off the bed, but it proved too heavy for him to handle. Instead, he resorted to pushing it with all his might, sending it tumbling off the edge of the bed and crashing to the floor with a loud thud.

The sound echoed through the room and Frank winced at the noise. "Gerard, please," Frank pleaded. "Don't do this to yourself. We have to be strong." But Gerard was beyond reason and tears streamed down his cheeks as he sank to his knees beside the fallen suitcase.

"I can't, daddy," Gerard whispered. "I can't bear to be without you." Frank knelt beside him, wrapping his arms around Gerard and he held him close, his own tears mingling with Gerard's as they clung to each other.

"I know it's hard, baby," Frank murmured. "But we'll get through this together. I promise." Frank's tears flowed freely as he listened to Gerard's words. "I can't live without you, daddy," Gerard whispered, his voice barely above a whisper. "I need you close, to keep my heart beating."
