After waking from a deep slumber and exploring the room a bit, I venture to sit out on the balcony and overlook this intriguing city.

I notice that everyone's starting to begin their day like me, stepping confidently from their homes with boxes of goods to vend and trade, others beginning to head towards the gate. Observing the children of the city begin to bustle about as they meet each other to go and play with a ball.

It's a very different atmosphere down here than up on the Ark. Well, from what I can remember at least.

I watch the children with a small smile dancing across my expression. But that changes as I think of how unfortunate a lot of children are on the Ark. Either they're locked up for being born, their parents are floated, or they're bullied because they're from a certain station. Down here, the kids are free.

I'm brought from my thoughts as the doors to the room open and I stand, returning from the balcony to find a woman about my age carrying a neatly folded stack of clothes.

"Good morning, Sky person. The Commander has tasked me with ensuring your settlement into this room with bringing you clothes and helping you with other amenities. I'm going to start a bath up for you then leave you to it." She tells me in pretty decent English, yet still hesitant at her pronunciation.

"Oh, thank you." I nod with a small smile. "May I ask for your name?"

This seems to catch her off guard.

"No one ever asks for my name." She admits.

"Well, I am. I'd like to put a name to its polite owner." I tell her.

"Blaire." She tells me, a shocked smile cracking across her expression.

"Blaire." I nod. "Nice meeting you. I'm Jordan." I tell her.

"You as well, Jordan." She tells me. "Now, I'm going to start that bath for you."

"Again, thank you." I nod appreciatively before she walks down a small hallway here in this room and into the bathroom I found earlier.

Following a couple of moments, she returns to announce that the bath is ready and she exits the room.

I head to the bathroom and find a large tub of warm water in which I can see the small amount of steam rising from.

Baths were near non-existent on the Ark. Showers, as well.

Undressing, I shiver a bit at the cool morning air hitting my skin.

Sticking my hand slowly down into the water, I find that it's very soothingly hot. Not scalding but hot. Doesn't take me long to get into the tub and sit carefully.

After bathing, I dry off with a towel and step out into the room, getting dressed, ignoring the stiffness and pain in my shoulder.

I find that I was given a pair of thick yet skin tight black cargo pants, a black long sleeve shirt and what seems to be a black bomber jacket, as well as some thick socks that I put on before putting my boots back on.

It's not long after I've finished dressing that there's a knock on the door before it opens. I turn to see Lexa entering with a small smile.

"Good morning, Heda." I nod my head.

"Morning, I see you've gotten ready for the day." She nods.

"I suppose. What brings you here this morning?" I question curiously.

"Well, I would like to show you around Polis and the market. I feel you'd enjoy the goods sold." She answers. "But I have no currency." I shake my head, raising a brow. "That's why I brought you this."
