"You look so pretty." One of the guest tells me grabbing my hands. I deeply appreciated her compliment hold onto her with a smile.

I've been nothing but in a good mood since the day he proposed. At first his siblings were being cold to me after what happened with Lydia but after apologizing to her, they were quick to change their tune. I can't lie and say that they don't feel like family. We joke around and argue just  like one would do with their brothers. I grew up as the only child and so it is nice having people around to care about you.

Today is the day that Silva get handed the entire business. Trulijo is officially retiring leaving it all to him. Not only is it a big day for him but for me as well. With Silva taking over he said that it was time for the world to know about me. And that it makes us official. Through this entire experience, only a few people have known about our rocky relationship but now I've been getting stares of admiration and jealousy since I've walked in here. It's quite overwhelming because I never like being in the spotlight.

Hassan explains that this is us getting married because once a Romano shows off their woman in a public gathering like this, no other man will try to talk to them. It's a sign of disrespect, not only towards the family but with everyone he works for. It's also officially saying that since everyone knows my face, there's no way I could ever escape him now.

Isabela Romano was married to Trulijos brother and wanted a divorce after she had enough of his drug addiction. He would come home paranoid destroying their home. He ended up cutting her head off after she was caught sleeping with one of their business partners. Wanted to leave your husband and actually going through with it, would get you a bullet to the head. But infedeltiy would cost you far more.

"I don't know how I feel about being treated like I'm some kind of celebrity." I tell Manon.

"Yea, I guess we underestimated the impact they have." She says. It's true because, I think I've been out of the manor about seven times. And so we never got a feel about how things are ran here.

"Hey come take a picture with us." Hassan says grabbing my hand. I don't get the chance to reject as I am being pulled towards the small crowd of people waiting for me.

"Okay smile!"

I'm placed in the center with Hasson wrapping his arms around me.

"This day is more about you than him." He jokes in between pictures. When we were done I relax myself before turning towards him.

"Where is he by the way?" I ask. Silva left a couple hours before I did and I have yet to see him.

"Probably back there talking to father."

I excuse myself to head in that direction. There are a few things I wanted to talk to him about. Silva has been a little uptight with me, it must be because of the cooperative attitude I've been upholding. He definitely suspects I'm planning something but what he doesn't know is that I'm willing to wait until he lets his guard completely down for me to strike.

As I get closer to the door I hear him talking to his father about something. I would have tried to ease drop if they weren't speaking in Italian and so I just invite myself in.

All talk is gone with both of their heads turning towards me.

"Mia figlia! You look wonderful!" Trulijo says coming over to give me a hug. I don't understand him, sometimes I think he hates me but other times he's so affectionate.

"Thank you, I wore it especially for you since your favorite color is white." I tell him charmingly.

"You're going to get yourself in trouble talking like that."
