Chapter 5

The next morning Alastor woke up, he got breakfast and rushed to the radiostation, he had an early shift and would stop by Sam to pick her up .

He worked through his shift with all energy and enthusiasm, he was very loved as radio host as well.

A lot of woman used to wait outside the radio station at the end of his shift and he had to rush through them to get to Sam.
He hated it that All those women wanted to touch him and keep him away from his 'future wife ' .

Alastor practically ran to Sam's family ranch , waving at her parents and running to the stables . Sam was finishing up her work when Alastor walked into the stables .
"Hi love!" Alastor called .
"AL!" Sam shouted happily and practically ran over to hug him .
"You finished your shift love?" He asked with a huge smile . "I'm almost done Al , but I need to freshen up before we go out .. would you mind waiting for me inside the house till I'm done?" I asked him almost kissing him .
"Don't worry darling, I'll wait for you" Alastor walked with Sam back to the house and both of them went inside.
Sam went upstairs to freshen up as Alastor had the time to ask her parents an important question "sir, ma'am.." alastor got both Sam her parents attention.
"Yes son?" Sam's father replied .
"I've been thinking about what you told me Sir, .. and I—I want permission to marry your daughter " Alastor immediately blurted out.
Both of Sam her parents looked at each other and smiled "again , well mannered ! You have our permission son, like we said you make her happy and we won't hold you back" Sam's father answered.

Both men gave each other a hand sealing the deal.

Sam came downstairs and saw both of them shaking their hands "what's going on?" Sam asked.

"Alastor will tell you later sweetheart" Sam's father said.
I looked questioning at Alastor "Al?" I asked.
"I'll tell you later Sam, I promise you " Alastor replied with a smile .

"Alright you two are acting weird, come on Al let's go" Sam spoke .
Alastor held the door and walked out behind me , offering me his arm when we walked to the city. We went to the bar where Mimzy worked at , we had some drinks .. maybe a little too much .. went dancing.
"Alastor ,.. I uhhmm have a problem" mimzy came over to Alastor and me .
I looked at Mimzy and Alastor answered "what is it this time Mimzy?" Alastor asked a little annoyed.
"Uhh well I .. have some guys in here that I need gone .. I'm in a little debt with them.. would you mind throwing them out for me ? "Mimzy asked .

"Fine Mimzy but please try to not to this too much " Alastor replied.
Mimzy pointed to the guys she needed out and Alastor took care of them punching them and throwing them out without any problem , I saw the glint in his eyes when he was punching those guys, something dangerous but incredibly sexy .

Alastor came back and it was to start getting late "Darling, I think it's time to get to our favorite time of the night".
"Walk though the bayou ?"I chuckled
"You know me best" Alastor laughed and took me with him outside .
We took a walk through the bayou and we ended at our favorite spot , it was tranquil next to a lake and the moon reflected beautifully in the water.
"Sam there's something I want to ask you" Alastor said. I looked at Alastor "go ahead "I replied. "I know this might be sudden but will you marry me ?" Alastor asked pulling out a golden ring with a small diamond. "Al, are you serious?!" I replied a little shocked .
"I'm serious Sam, I'd like you to become my wife " Alastor said.
I nodded and tears started to flow "yes Al! I do" I replied and kissed him . With shaking hands he slipped the ring on my finger and smiled.

Al walked me back home, I was now his fiancé. He dropped me back off at home and kissed me once more, I went back inside and my father was at the window giving Alastor a thumbs up and a nod practically I could hear him say "good job son". Alastor smiled back gave a short nod and went on his way home , he told his mother he asked me to marry him and I accepted .
His mother was overjoyed with the fact Alastor finally asked a lady on a date, then marry him. He finally had someone to share his life with .

But only if they knew what would happen ...
