Chapter 21

Sam's (Vendetta)pov:

For a year or 4 I lived around Lucifer's place , making money and taking care of Charlie when Lucifer wasn't around .

Charlie was a good kid , I took her out through hell , for ice cream with her and took her to Rosie's in cannibal town .

"Vendetta is that you ?! And who do you got with you today?" Rosie beamed , Rosie was such a lovely woman especially for being an overlord in of cannibal town .

"This my dear friend is the princess of hell , I watch over her when Lucifer is simply too busy " I replied to Rosie and gave her a firm hug .

We three sat down together and drank tea while we spoke about some issues around town .
Due to my increasing power I soon would be one of the higher ranking overlords of hell , not the biggest yet but Rosie said that after one of her overlord friends disappeared I might over take his power one day if I kept going like this .

We hardly spoke about him but when she did she referred to him as the radio demon .

"How long had the radio demon been gone now Rosie ?" I asked her politely.
"Hmm around 4 almost 5 years now" Rosie sighed . " please enlighten me and tell me about him " I replied curiously.

She told me about how he came in hell and no one was really interested in him , but when he gained power quickly people made more deals with him ... even other powerful overlords disappeared and he started to broadcast the screams though hell.
I got intrigued by this "hmm sounds like fun" I smiled and gave a short chuckle .

"It such a sin you two haven't met yet, if I only knew where he was.,, I bet the two of you would be great together as overlords! No doubt in my mind you two won't like each other " Rosie replied . I sighed at this "you know I don't go up and about with man like that " rolling my eyes at the end of my sentence.

"Yes dear of course , you're still loyal to that fiancé of yours from the living world that has died but you haven't found anywhere yet ., would he be in heaven maybe ?" She replied

"Yeah .. No absolutely not " I smiled while shaking my head .

You know what I said about him "a mass murderer with no heart for anything accept you" Rosie beamed .

"Must be the perfect man ! " Rosie chuckled at that .

After an hour or three of drinking and talking with Rosie I decided to go back to Lucifer's place .
Bringing in Charlie as she waved me off when she went to her room.

"Had a good day I see " I heard Lucifer say as he walked up to me.
I nodded "definitely had a good day with her , she's a great kid " I replied to him .

Lucifer sighed " you know we won't always stay this young .. but I'd like to let you stick around for another 3 years before you know .." I nodded at Lucifer , knowing what he meant .

3 years passed and indeed Charlie didn't really need me to take care of her anymore .
"Sam! Would you mind coming into my office .." Lucifer said .

So I walked into his office and I sat down in the chair across him , I was a very powerful overlord at this point , a reasonable one yet tricky as well .
"Sam as you might've noticed , Charlie doesn't really relies on you to take care of her anymore ...and it might be best to part ways and get your own place .. your power has increased the last few years and you're immensely powerful especially for an overlord ... I want to offer you your own place of your choice anywhere through hell on my expenses " Lucifer said .

I was silent for a moment to think about what he was saying and I nodded "you're right and I'm completely fine with getting my own place..." i went silent once again thinking of any place I'd like to be around ... then it simply popped into my head "I want to live secluded just out of cannibal town ... no one around, not easy findable and I want it to look just like my house when I was still alive " I replied to Lucifer with a smile .

His eyes went wide "yeah sure ,.. if that's what you want " he replied and snapped his fingers , transferring us to a location a few kilometers away from cannibal town.

"Is this good ?" Lucifer asked , I looked around for a moment and replied "how much can we change this place ?"

"A lot with those powers of yours , I could do it but it's better if you do .. you can set up that house from your memories as well " Lucifer said .

I snapped my fingers and the place changed into an exact copy of me and alastors house including the bayou surroundings .

"That .. that's it .." I whispered with a soft smile on my face .. slowly retracing the memories from when I was alive .

With another snap of my fingers a Barrier came around the house protecting it and making it invisible if I wasn't anywhere near it .
"Perfect !" I beamed , Lucifer looked at me with a smile "I'm glad this will work for you Sam , you've grown so much and Charlie became such a good kid .. thank you " Lucifer said putting a hand on my shoulder . I looked at him and nodded at him" if I was alive I've would've raised my own son like that .. I still miss him " I replied .

"You're powerful Sam , maybe you can bring some memories of him in your home " Lucifer smile at me pointing his cane towards the house .

I thought about the last time I saw my son jack , I snapped my fingers and saw a copy of jack playing around the house .. just like my memories .

"Oh.. I can't believe this " I looked with teary eyes at Lucifer . He nodded and let me go "thank you vendetta , take good care of yourself and you're always welcome to come over for tea" Lucifer's replied .

I walked to the house and walked though the door , everything was in place like I never left it .
I imagined Alastor when he was still alive and also his embodiment was around now .

Almost like our deaths never happened ....
It was 7 years now since I died and I've become one of the most powerful overlords in hell, little did I know the radio demon would soon be back in town ...
